Went in to open a checking account and asked about exchanging my foreign currency cash from recent trip. One lady there acted like the police and gave me a lecture on how all foreign currency isn’t real or outdated. I explained that I got my currency legally in the foreign country and it is active currency. She’s like, well let’s see about that. Then she drilled me WHY I was in a foreign country, and how long. Not sure WHY that even matters. And trust me it wasn’t to build rapport, it was very much an interrogation. She was like an asset protection associate on steroids. She did not want to work with me to open a checking account and gave me weird reasons what is needed to open a bank account and when I talk to other people who bank at associated, they don’t have the same “rules”. So I definitely took the hint and got out of there quick. But wasted my time, she could have harassed me over the phone instead.

I was having trouble completing a transaction. Lois walked me throygh it and we solved the problem quickly. She knew just what to do. It was a relief to get it solved so easily with her help.

Sellers beware . Do not accept an offer from a buyer with a Huntington Bank pre-approval . The offer closing date means nothing to them . Sold many homes and this was by far the worst experience we have ever had . Really feel bad for the buyer that choose to go with these hacks .

Worst bank ever! It takes a minimum of 15 minutes just to deposit a check through the drive through....then if you have a question their automated system will drive you to put a hammer to your own head. I'm not sure if anybody actually works there or not.
