It is a nice post office. No one waiting in line.

They seem to loose mail/packages or send it back more often than they tend to deliver it to you.

Today was something different with USPS. The postman who wasn't our regular guy screamed F... You to one of our dogs. We live just outside of town and have a fenced-in backyard for our 2 dogs. 1 dog was outside barking as she heard postman pull up. I should point out that from the mailbox to the fence is 40+ ft away with multiple trees, so you can't even see the fence or the dog. He was gone before I got to the mailbox. This guy was driving the white post office vehicle, and our regular guy drives his own vehicle. The regular mailman has always been good. Thanks to the FedEx guy who gives out treats, our dogs think they are getting treats for all deliveries, so they get excited regardless of whether it's USPS, UPS or FedEx.

The mail carrier scanned my package as delivered then changed it ten minutes later to forwarded. I go to the post office to see someone about it and they told me that they would grab my package when the mail carrier got back from their route. I go back later that day to pick up my package and when I finally got it, I am told that the mail carrier didn't deliver my package because my name wasn't on the mailbox. She just assumed I didn't live there and it was insinuated that more of my mail had been returned to sender. I was absolutely livid as I have been having my mail sent there for the last EIGHT MONTHS. Get it together USPS, just deliver to the address on the mail.

I'd say about 1/3 of my packages go missing. I can't get ahold of anyone when I try to call, I can't file an online claim because I can't create an online account with them because apparently my phone number is already in use there. I don't know what else to do. These are without a doubt some of the most incompetent people I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. You can tell they're a government-run organization, because if they were an actual business, they wouldn't be able to stay open. Only government workers could possibly be this dumb and still somehow have a job.

They have the wrong hours listed everywhere so you think you can get there quick after work and turns out they lock the doors and close at 5pm instead of 5:30 like it says online.

Hours are wrong on Google. They’re only open until 5

they're doing their best but horribly under staffed and even skilled workers can only do so much

I went to the Post office in Stevens Point this Saturday and the customer service door was locked over half an hour early.

For what they have to deal with during the holidays and being short handed as is everyone else, they deserve a round of applause!!

Very disappointed in this office. Had an issue before with mail not being delivered when it was supposed to, found out a month later it went to the wrong address. Now again, 90% of my mail is being delivered anywhere in my apartment complex except my apartment. I am missing important documents and letters from family that randomly appear a month later. I have submitted inquiries countless times. The first time I was met with rudeness as someone assumed I didn’t understand how informed delivery worked. Yes, I know it doesn’t mean same day, but when mail shows up in my informed delivery 3 days later and I get that same day something is off. That piece of mail still has never shown up at my apartment. The last time it was said they’d speak with the carriers, but clearly that didn’t work. Short staffed? Fine. But this seems to be becoming a careless carrier issue and it needs to be fixed.
