Abel Contemporary Gallery is one of the largest and most impressive collections of fine art and fine craft in the region. Housed in a beautifully renovated, historic warehouse with great character, the space itself is a work of art. The gallery features a wide diversity of styles and mediums, including beautiful paintings, ceramics, furniture, and photography by well-known local and national artists. The well-curated exhibits range from serious to seriously humorous. Helpful and knowledgeable staff contribute to making it a definitely worthwhile and delightful place to visit, where new exhibits are hosted every six to seven weeks.
The gallery is beautiful, and the variety and quality of the art was world-class. I highly recommend a visit.
