I purchased a new to me 2022 GMC Sierra on Friday from Trevor and Aster. They were both so kind and patient in helping me navigate my purchase. Our sales person Wendy sent us pictures and keep us updated on the status of the car we was interested in, as we were 3 states away from, after getting time to go view the vechicle it was everything she said it was and treated us like royalties. Stephanie was great!!! She worked with us through multiple evaluations of vehicles, not pushing us in any specific direction. She listen to our requests, and helped us arrive on our choice of vehicle. When she didn’t know the answer to a specific a
question, she utilized her resources and got us the answers. I appreciated this approach, as there is nothing more frustrating than an opinionated answer, that isn’t actually entirely accurate. Stephanie’s approach was pleasant and refreshing, given the multiple encounters that my wife and I had at other dealerships. We are happy with our vehicle choice and Stephanie’s service. I would highly recommend a visit to Kunes and see if she can help you as well. We would also like to acknowledge Wendy’s help as well. First and foremost Chris was great as a salesman who helped me get the truck I was looking at hence the 1 star. If not for him I would put 0. Once I purchased the truck I had to wait for the windshield to be placed since it had a large crack on it. Come Wednesday evening I picked up the truck and drove it home. The very next morning my stepson who is a mechanic and previously worked at a dealership told me the tailgate was not on correctly and that the bumper was crooked. It was also a fleet vehicle once I got the actual cards after buying it. So not really a one owner truck. Upon learning this I reached out to Chris who wanted to make it right. Unfortunately the sales manager didn’t feel the same way. After 2 days someone finally called me back after multiple calls and told me to take it to the dealership near me but would not guarantee they would pay for fixing the bumper or tailgate. Although this truck had a 130 point inspection! I’m not a car guy by any means and I clearly didn’t see the slight difference on the tailgate and bumper. Nor did the dealership catch it as well. But to own a truck in less than 24 hours and be told you will pay out of pocket was wrong in my book. Travis was the sales manager who called me and told me to take it to the one near me and that he would call them to let them know the situation. When I arrived to the dealership they said nobody ever called them and that they would take care of it. Once I got the truck back. I was charged $185. Tailgate was fixed but not the bumper. I don’t ever do reviews but I felt this was needed. Nobody should have to buy a 130 point inspection vehicle and be told immediately they won’t make any promises to correct the mistake they didn’t catch.

I found a truck posted online and made an appointment to come see it. Test drove in the dark and despite saying i'm not a car guy, I noticed 4 aftermarket items on the truck that I had to point out and were not pointed out to me.
I explained I had hit a deer and totaled my previous truck earlier in the week and had a check coming within 48 hours and planned on paying cash for this used truck at Kunes. They would not take any collateral to keep the truck for me and refused to tell me how long they had the truck on the lot.
I decided to make an appointment the following day to finance the truck (how dealerships make their money) in effort to ensure the truck wasn't stolen by someone else in the 2 days i'd need to wait. This never hit home to anyone at Kunes the favor I was doing for them.
When I show up for my 2nd appointment at 3pm, I get stuck in the corner for 3.5 hours before any paperwork gets done and I get told i'm 5th in line and there's only 1 finance guy.
I get through everything and miss my entire Friday night with my young family and get home at 8pm, again when I had an appointment scheduled for 3pm.
The next morning I have to bring the truck back to get cleaned up and detailed and on the way in the tire pressure computer comes on, the truck is driving heavily to the right, the back rear door does not unlock by the remote or button on the doors, and the engine is making whiney noise.
After begging for them to take a look at the $15,000 truck they sold me the night before, they finally scheduled me to bring it in 9 days later.
I show up for the 4th day to drop off the truck to be looked at and I wasn't on the calendar. A mechanic seemed to be doing me a huge favor and squeezed me in and took the time to address all my questions and concerns that neither of the sales guys or managers would address.
The mechanic, as helpful as he was, told me I would notice a drastic difference in getting a $180 alignemtn done. I wasn't happy with the fact I had just bought this truck that needed an alignment done but fine, lets add just a bit of money and enjoy the ride.
Attached are 2 videos after I was charged $300 for the alignment and fixing the rear door lock. I'm no expert but I guess I thought an alignment would drive straighter than it does and the video was taken the day after the alignment. The rear door still does not unlock but you better believe the $300 payment left my account immidiately.
As soon as I noticed neither of these items were actually fixed I notified Kunes on their website and while I did miss the text from a sales manager for 24 hours, I did respond giving the information for a 4th time and asking where I could send the videos for him to see or what they would like to do. Ultimately I was asking for $150 back at the very least for the door not being able to be unlocked that my 5 year old sits next to and they haven't responded in several days.
My friends and family will no longer be using any Kunes locations.

I had the best car buying experience ever. Endrit asked me what I wanted & needed and gave me options. He was so helpful and knowledgeable. He made the difference and was understanding, considerate, kind & funny and cared that I was satisfied with my purchase. All my questions were answered. Everyone I met from Endrit ,as the sales rep, to managers to the finance manager were a joy to work with. I’ll return and be sure to refer family & friends.Jean W
