Today I got my hair cut at Great Clips in Sturgeon Bay. I even showed a photo to explain exactly how I wanted the sides and how the top should be, I explained everything. But now my haircut looks terrible. My hair was cut by someone who seemed younger than the other stylists, and I’m not even sure they really know how to cut hair I can see uneven layers all over my hair, and I told them multiple times that I didn’t want to see those harsh lines. I asked for softer transitions, but I’m not even sure they understood me. Terrible employee.

PLEASE READ BEFORE TAKING YOUR CHILD HERE!On 7/30/25 my mother brought my 7 year old daughter in to get her hair styled for her birthday to make her feel special. That did NOT happen. My child was left with 2 second degree burns on her ear from a curling iron and had to spend the later part of her birthday in the urgent care. My mother had no idea it even happened until the stylist came back and handed her a packet of burn cream after the service was over because instead of getting her right away they just kept going with my daughter crying in pain! If a child is moving too much it’s only common sense to STOP THE SERVICE OR AT LEAST STOP USING THE HOT TOOLS! But no they wanted to chase a dollar (my mom had to pay before the service) instead of looking out for the safety of my child! Upon calling to speak to the manager she then tried blaming my daughter for moving too much instead of the stylist being held responsible for not having enough common sense to stop using hot tools on an active child. This place says kid friendly but how friendly is it to injury a child and keep going without alerting their adult or to not have enough sense to stop using hot tools on a child who is moving too much for your comfort.

I stopped in being optimistic about this place and it was a real let down. It seemed like everyone else got great service. The lady told me at the front desk it was a 20 minute wait and I ended up waiting for over 30 minutes. If she told me or longer I would have understood. But I specifically asked the stylist for a short undercut and a beard trim at the beginning. I thought I had mentioned short. But she focused only on my pony tail and the back of my hair only a few inches I am a male and wanted it cut off and short like most guys have. All the other stylist were talking to their customers and I felt like I wasn’t being talked to like it was just a job for her. She then brought me to the front desk and completely forgot about the beard trim until my girlfriend had mentioned it to her. I ended up with a buzz cut and she went hard on my scalp I had never had it hurt before.
Requested style: I thought it was going to be a short undercut. But she had only confocused on my back

I took my 4yr old in for a cut. I was not happy with it. When I got home I realized how uneven it was. I just ended up buzzing it all down with some trimmers. Not worth the price. I've lowered my rating based one the "tell someone who cares" response the original post received. AVOID!!!

Employee walked in the front door with 3 dogs off leash. Dogs were running around the salon, jumping on customers and trying to breed in the middle of the shop... definitely not a sanitary environment.
