I am at this location probably once a week and I would say overall they do their best cuz clearly they don't have employees or enough payroll to staff the store and they do a really great job with what they have. I was a district manager in retail for many many years and you can tell a store that is trying versus people that just don't care

The person there seems irritated when I asked a question. This was the first time I had visited this store. Seems like their more interested in stocking the store than answering a simple question. Don't know really but it could be possible that my credit card was hacked after my purchase there. Seems plausible because I hadn't used my card for months. Never ever am I going to another dollar general EVER!. So no reply from the owner, guess this isn't important to them đ

Decent size place. 8 people in line, including myself, just walked out bc they only except cash. Which no one (who cares to be robbed) has on hand. Who carries cash anymore??

Even when I was standing right in front of her, the cashier insisted I place my backpack up frontâdespite being clearly within her view. Itâs not the homeless or teenagers being targeted here, but rather anyone carrying a large bag or purse, treated as suspicious. Why stop at backpacks? Thatâs rightâbecause they target specific groups. Itâs amusing how others might find such practices wrong when directed at them, yet they justify it when applied to others. This is why I often despise humanity or, more accurately, the masks it wears to appear so.

I was absolutely appalled by the store manager Amelia. There were several items on clearance and when I brought an item up she told me that it was not on clearance and would not sell it to me for the clearance price. She then proceeded to basically accuse me of putting the clearance sticker on the item myself even though there was several of the same item on the clearance table with stickers. She then continued to argued with me about how she wouldnât sell it to me and âShe was not going to do this with me.â When I asked the name of her district manager she told me âThey did not have one.â I am writing this review because someone above the store manage needs to be made aware of the store managers complete lack of customer service and horrible attitude. If I spoke to a customer the way this store manager spoke, I would not have a job. Absolutely stunned.

The manager and employee were both very disrespectful and rude to the customer, there was proof of a deal on their items and even their tags said 3 12 pk for 16$ with 3$ off for using app. The manager rang it up and it totaled almost 20$ and she refused to fix it because of false advertisement and had an attitude. Even made a comment basically saying the customer was stupid for not being able to remember their store number when they took a picture of their store number. They should wear name tags and need to be re-trained or fired. They refused to give us their name to be able to report them.

The employees and MANAGER are awful. They make rude comments and create an uncomfortable atmosphere. When a customer comes in during business hours regardless of the weather you make it a pleasant experience. Donât make comments like âthe weather said to stay home not come hereâ as if we donât have jobs that allowed us to make a trip at that time or day. She needs to be retrained or let go. Itâs not the first time
Iâve experienced her and her negative customer interactions.

I've been shopping and Dollar general and Sun Prairie for 23 years and the current stir manager Amelia has the wrong job. She does not display customer service knowledge and was very rude to me and my family. I asked her her name and she said I did not need to know that. This is the second experience I had with her being rude. Get a new store manager

the employees were throwing the N work and F word around the entire time i was in and was near them. grossest store ive ever been into, nothing was clean, everything was out of place, expired stuff on shelves. rang the bell to check out and took 10 for someone to come help.

The employee was talking on his speaker phone even when I asked directions for an item. That was Timothy's first rude behavior. When I was ready to check out the cashier was still talking on his cell phone loudly. I told him I didn't not think he was being polite to me or his other customers. He became angry and shouted, " I'm through with you!"

Bad customer service the guy who was attending us was just talking on the phone he kept telling me to pay when I already payed but he didnât notice because he was talking by phone all the time. There was no greetings or anything.
