“I was dreading mattress shopping. I'm so glad I went to Wisconsin Bedding for my first stop. It ended up being my only stop. They look small, but have a great stock. They are totally no pressure. No one ambushed me walking in. They waiting until I indicated I wanted help, but the second I did, someone was right there. The sales person was very knowledgeable, but I didn't feel like I was being sold something, just being given the information I was seeking. The sales person was so patient as I narrowed down my choices. After I picked one (at a great price) I noticed they had pillows and got some of those. Again, prior to me noticing, no trying to sell me a bunch of other stuff. But a question of whether I needed other things - some yes, some no. I was glad they asked and also didn't make me feel I was being "sold." They had a delivery date just a week after my purchase. So smooth - it took about 3 minutes. Delivery and taking away the old things was no additional cost. The mattress and pillows and super comfortable. I'm so happy with the entire experience.”

We were given a window of time for delivery and could track it online. Walter and his crew hauled away the old washer and installed the new one quickly and professionally. “We decided we finally wanted to replace our 20 year old Verlo mattress. Our old mattress was still fine, but showing some body indentation. Since we were so happy with our previous mattress purchase from Verlo we decided to purchase another. We settled on the V11 in a medium firmness. We have had our mattress for a week now and couldn’t be happier with our purchase. The mattress is superior quality. Customer service was great and delivery was prompt. Will try to refresh this review once the mattress has aged a little bit. If it’s like our old mattress I have no doubt it will last a long time.”

“Updated from 3 to 4.5 stars after I got my furniture delivered. Pros: They have a good variety and selection of furniture and the salesman was nice and helpful. Reasonable prices and it seems to be good quality as well. Their no refunds policy seems a little stricter than some other stores I've been to, but I'm pretty happy with my overall purchase so far. Cons: Trying to organize delivery was tough. Know that they do phone calls and not emails, not even for your purchase receipt so hold on to your paper one. I digress. When I called in the morning to sort out delivery details, they were closed and their voicemail box wasn't set up. For these reasons if yelp would let me I'd take off half a star. ...more pros (Update): The phone receptionist was extremely helpful in getting my delivery time nailed down. The delivery staff came on time and did a good job assembling the pieces quickly. They were professional and made sure they were set up where I wanted. One piece had a manufacturing flaw so they returned a few days later to replace it free of charge. And my furniture is gorgeous, well built and definitely worth the price. After this experience, I am much happier and would recommend A-1 furniture.”

“Amber was great to work with! I never felt like she was pushy and she was patient with my inability to make a quick decision. I bought two sofas, two chairs, and a new mattress/base. While looking at mattresses I wasn’t quite sold on the more expensive bases and she asked why, listened to what I was saying and didn’t push me to spend more money on something I just didn’t want. I really enjoyed working with her and will be back to buy from her if we need more home furnishings in the future!”

“Walked in to the store from out of town after just getting an apartment. Walked in an hour before close and just wanted to look around. Jim helped us and was very knowledgeable! They had a great selection and we left with a couch and king bed that we loved. I highly recommend this place for all price ranges, just ask for Jim!!!!”
