I use the UPS store in SunPrairie weekly. Everyone is always so kind and knowledgeable. The staff and ownership have been huge supporters of community events- Stephanie and Brian have spent hours to making sure pamphlets and information for our veterans events are done well.From wedding invitations to mailing stuff off to my first kiddo away at college I wouldn't go anywhere else! Thank you UPS store!

Went into the Sun Prairie UPS store today to do a quick Amazon return. One of the Amazon return self service stations was closed….I would’ve been the fourth person in line at the one that was open and available. Instead, I walked up to the counter and asked Stephanie if she could help me with a return, (so I could get in and out of the store quickly).There were three or four UPS employees working at the time in the store doing miscellaneous work, but not directly helping any customers at the counter or elsewhere. I’ve been helped at the counter with Amazon returns in the past, and I think it usually takes about 20 seconds. Stephanie’s response truly surprised me. She said “no, I won’t help you at the counter, you can use a self-service station. I said to her, “There is a bit of a line, so I thought I would ask if someone at the counter could help me?” Stephanie said “no, you can wait in line. It wouldn’t be fair for me to help you after these people have been waiting in line”.My response to that was “people can choose to wait in line, or they can choose to ask for assistance at the counter” (since one of the self-service stations was out of order). Stephanie reiterated that the employees had a lot of other work to be doing , as part of their job. She reiterated that Amazon return services are not part of services they provide. I told her that I assumed there was some sort of business relationship/partnership between Amazon and UPS, so I assume there was a certain level of service that the UPS employees might provide, if a reasonable request is presented. Stephanie assured me that no, the Amazon return stations are completely separate and they don’t have anything to do with it.This was a bad experience based on the assistance I’ve gotten both at the self-service station, and at the counter, in the past. Had Stephanie helped me, I think it might’ve taken about 15 to 20 seconds, tops. I waited in line, used the self service station. As I was leaving, I pointed out to Stephanie that it would’ve been nice to get her assistance at the counter since one of the Amazon return self-service stations was out of order. She just reiterated that they don’t do that and she didn’t understand what my problem was. Ouch! Clearly, not a customer service oriented employee.

I utilize their services 2-5 times a month for the last several years, mostly for Amazon returns and all of the printing for my small business. Everyone I encounter at the store has been very kind, helpful and communicates effectively.

I'm a small business owner and I greatly appreciate UPS's quality of service. They always seem extremely busy, yet I find the employees (especially Bryon and Stephanie who I interact with the most) very professional, helpful and patient. UPS is a wonderfully convenient international shipping option for us, and, we frequently need them to scan large documents. I only wish the store was located downtown Sun Prairie so that I wouldn't have to drive on Main Street.

There are generally two main people working at any given time, a male party and a female party. I’m aware of the female party being Stephanie and I would recommend avoiding her at all costs. Nearly every time we need UPS shipping and have to actually go inside she is unfriendly, unwelcoming and just appears as though she hates being there.On the other hand, the male party who is normally there seems to want to help and assist with questions.We really dread having to go there. We love the new Amazon return self-scan but only because we can avoid having to interact with Stephanie. You can’t miss the kiosks as there are multiple signs and even lights (it’s kind of silly really) directing you where to go so you don’t have to bother the employees with your questions.Additional summer help all seem to be kind and friendly as well.Overall, we can’t recommend this particular location. Reading responses of other reviews, they are quite defensive and even attacking towards other reviewers. Other UPS Stores in our experience have overall better customer experiences.I can understand the stress of being a busy location, but I feel like there would be a little more gratitude for having that business instead of the feeling that as a customer you are annoying Stephanie every time you come in. That alone makes it a stressful customer experience at this particular location and one that we try to avoid when we can.I’m sure this review will get a blown up response as most seem to on here, but it’s just our opinion. I’m well aware that the business will have, and likely post, a difference of opinion to ours.

I stopped in this store today to ship out an Amazon return I had called ahead to make sure that I could use the code that was provided to me I stated that I had a barcode provided by Amazon and I was wondering if I could ship out the package at the store they said no problem and I drove to the store when I got there the lady that was there looked at my code and says you can't ship this out I explained I had just talked to somebody she didn't seem to care I asked to speak with a manager and they refused to get me one I left extremely dissatisfied with the incompetent service I contacted Amazon and explained to them that they wouldn't accept the label I had Amazon said that they should have been able to send it with that but updated it to a QR code since that is all they seem to know how to do but it is still the same return I also at the same time messaged the store and is dealing with who I believe to be the owner they message me back very rudely saying that I had provided the wrong information to their staff and basically blamed me for their own staffs incompetence I replied back stating that I did not appreciate being blamed for their employees incompetence and that it is Management's failure to properly train their employees I asked that I be compensated for my time and mileage since their staff are so incompetent and wasted my time I received a message once again blaming me for their employees screw up I then messaged back again demanding that I be compensated for my time and mileage because their employeesincompetence if he doesn't want to treat his customers right I can post reviews about it then the owner replied to me again obviously scared of a bad review threatening legal action against me for slander don't do any business with this store they don't know how to treat customers right or help them and getting threatening messages from the owner and being blamed for his employees screw UPS is unacceptable and I will not tolerate it

I do like having the new option of scanning my own Amazon returns in myself. Then I can avoid the woman that always looks annoyed to have to work. However the last time I was in, there were 4-5 of us with Amazon returns. The staff pointed to the signs in the usual condescending way that I have always witnessed them treat costumers. Three employees stand around doing nothing (because only people with Amazon returns were in the store now clogging up the doorway). If they no longer will scan an Amazon package at the counter….AT LEAST help out the elderly lady who stood in front of the machine waaay too long, clearly confused and asking questions out loud with no assistance. I would have gladly done their job and helped her out but she was two people ahead of me and my hands were full. I continued to observe the employees do nothing until it was finally my turn where is took me 20 seconds and I was out the door. I will deal with the attitude if I can get in and out quickly. But if I continue to run into this line where nobody gets help and it takes forever while employees stand there watching I will definitely be doing business elsewhere.

Charged me 3x what the library charges for a simple black and white print. .09 cents on their site. Walked out paying $.40 each copy. They kept wanting to charge me more since I was printing a label, I just told them black and white copy. The clerk there, a young man, didnt seem knowledgable about the process and overcharged me.

I just left UPS dropping off items for my business and Amazon packages. She initially asked about printing off my label at home and who I go through. I stated pirate ship. She said oh I know all about that site they under cut us so our store makes no money. Her demeanor quickly changed and was short with me with then my Amazon returns. She couldn’t get one of the two codes to scan and was again visibly frustrated. When I asked her nicely to just try one more time as I did not have my phone she did and it worked. She stated oh must of been the angle. I thanked her and she smirked and walked away as if I was an inconvenience to her. This is not the first time I have come into this store with her being so rude and not only to me as if we are disrupting her day and could be doing something more important.Since there is no option to reply to the response above- I would love the videos sent to me and can’t wait for you to review them as well. Thank you

I had a UPS return today and someone suggested the store in Sun Prairie or east side Madison. I told them about my rude encounter in Sun Prairie and I went to east side Madison (because I will never set foot in the Sun Prairie store.) The rude behavior I experienced the first time there was ENOUGH!!! I would drive to NYC before I would bother with this place. Please retire and sell the business to people who will be kind and courteous!

I was behind the young woman with her son the other day who left a review talking about the owner being incredibly short with her. There was NO line as I was behind her and then another employee helped me. I caught the tail end of the conversation. I am disgusted that a business owner would treat a mother who had her hands clearly full in such a way. She may have already been having a difficult time and instead of showing grace and kindness you were rude. I came here to leave my own review and then saw that she left a review so I wanted to set the record straight. I’ve worked in retail management for almost 18 years and am myself a small business owner. Do better!!

Very disappointed with my service today. I had my Amazon returns prepped and ready, set them down, and was pulling up the codes to scan. They would not load on my phone after 30 seconds so the man said he would be right back while it loaded. Came back and said are you ready now? As I clicked into the app for the code it yet again took a second to load. The man behind the register states, “You know, we would like it if you had this ready prior to your turn.” His tone was not appreciated, as it was not very friendly in his delivery. I turned and there was no one in line behind me and my hands were full with holding my son and the packages that I didn’t have it right up and ready. I left the store because I was such an inconvenience and it took only two minutes for this man to become impatient with me. Make sure you are fully prepared or you will get berated for taking too long by the employees apparently.
