While the facility may be older, the hardworking and dedicated leadership team is constantly striving to upgrade and maintain the premises, ensuring a clean and well-functioning environment. The YMCA offers a variety of programs, including an exceptional child care service for ages 3 to 11, as well as a family-friendly recreation pool that is highly appreciated by members. Although the open rec pool times have been limited due to the Duluth Parks and Recreation program, the YMCA continues to serve the community by providing opportunities for physical activity and social engagement. Overall, the Superior Douglas County Family YMCA is a valued asset, offering a welcoming and inclusive space for individuals and families to thrive.
I love this place. I’ve always good experiences at open swim, knowing when the hot tub is open or under repairs, and participating in a few work out classes. Glad they help get me more active.
