We are so grateful for Momentum - Sussex! The baby teachers are incredible and Ms. Debbie's experience makes us feel so comfortable. We trust this place so much and are so grateful for this daycare.

I'd choose Momentum again for my kids! The baby teachers in particular are EXCELLENT. There's some level of staff turnover, but I get that that's somewhat inevitable, especially given that they're opening up a new location in Oconomowoc. That being said, I know how much the staff cares for the kids. It's wonderful that every single person in the building knows my kids' names.

Horrible management, no communication with teachers, and the teachers don't have proper education in handling children. Heard multiple parents stating staff has been rough with kids.

They will try to protect their BUSINESS I’m trying too protect the family’s. If your kid is special in any way… don’t bring them here as they are NOT capable of handling children with special needs or behavioral disorders . Their staff will tell you otherwise, but my experience here suggests the complete opposite. Especially when I’m getting called to leave work to pick my child up every time they CANNOT handle my child. Blue collar people tend to get fired over attendance issues. If your child has been groomed from birth to be in a daycare then this is the place for you. If your kid is silly or special in any way whatsoever go somewhere else.

I have nothing but great things to say about Momentum. They took such amazing care of my baby. They were so responsive to any questions or scheduling requests I had. And my favorite part was the updates on all naps, potty, and feedings. They also did such cute arts and crafts I got to bring home plus they’d send me pictures of him doing them. I love Momentum.

They do not work with children with special needs. Was told they so not have time to calm my child down or help with with finding his words. They set kidd up to fail. There's no communication. Over crowded and teacher ratio is not followed. The teachers are never consistent, they are always quitting due to management.

I called in February for care and they informed me that they didn't have room and a expansion was coming in March/April and they would call me back. I never got a call back and I called just now to see if they had room because I was told with the expansion it wouldn't be a problem.... they are booked until October! I understand I waited but if they knew I needed care and were filling up, I would think they would have called to see if I was still interested.

Daycare was one of the most important decisions we made as new parents. We toured 5 or 6 in the area and ultimately decided on Momentum because it was a place we could see our child growing at long term. We've been sending our 16 month old since she was 3 months old and we continuously rave about the care she receives there. They care a lot about the children's growth, reaching milestones, and constantly have fun activities planned. Makes me wish I could go to daycare too! They were also amazing at providing tips and suggestions for navigating the beginning stages of parenthood. We felt very comfortable sending our daughter to Momentum from day one.

This place is fantastic, from the staff to the activities they have planned on a daily basis for my kids. Their new app is pretty slick as well, I can see what the kids have been up to all day, including eating and sleeping logs. Any time I contact them they are super quick to respond and answer any questions I have. Jenna is an absolute rock star!

Staff and leadership are exceptional - we should know as we have 3 kids enrolled there! We are so lucky to have such a fantastic daycare in the area with such caring, attentive, and communicative teachers and administrators!

Do not send your children here until they clean it up.Staff members have posted GLOWING reviews, I would hope they had a good experience since it is the hand that also feeds them. That being said, in our experience 1 teacher was stellar & is the best asset along with the newer bright facility. I am disappointed that this did not work given the convenient location being closest to our home. We gave FAR too many chances for the center to make things right & I was labeled a complainer for having brought constructive criticism to the Director’s attention. Unfortunately, it was then taken out upon my infant daughter. Do not take your children here until they clean it up.My daughter started Sept 8, ’14 at nearly 4 months old. Until some turnover in the infant rooms everything was stellar. Late Oct began decline. My daughter came home frequently with fecal matter on her behind. I asked to be shown how a diaper was changed by a teacher that was rated by Youngstar & she used 3 wipes, 1 quick down middle, 1 down sides, & closed her new diaper in front of me with fecal matter on her behind with the 3rd wipe to use for cleaning hands. I brought the issue to the administrator & the issue was addressed.NOV: I peaked in at the webcam to see my daughter placed on the floor in front of a teacher in a rocking chair with another infant being fed in her arms while my daughter was being fed with a foot resting on her chest and bottle held up with the foot. This issue was raised & addressed.JAN: My daughter was dropped off at 7:45 and not moved or touched by support staff until 10:30am only to be placed in her crib to cry herself to sleep. I saw on the webcam she was where I left her with same toys. The daily sheet when I picked her up stated that she’d been napping from 9:55am-12:15pm. She missed a bottle and morning solids for feeding. She received her first feeding when her regular teacher arrived soon after noon. The daily sheet did not match what I saw and my concerns were met with knee-jerk defense of staff and condescension. I’d been marked a complainer. I was met with gossip among support staff when dropping & picking up after this incident. Trust is not possible when what you see does not match what they say happened. The atmosphere is due to attitudes from the top management down.My daughter almost always needed a diaper change before I could take her home. On Jan 30th upon pickup I went to change her diaper & Desitin had been gobbed in her diaper + in her genitals. Fecal matter underneath the Desitin caused burns & bleeding. I nursed my 8 month old’s bottom an entire weekend & scabs were still apparent. I was furious when I found they noted the daily log as my baby's bottom having been sore on Fri JAN 30th as if I had neglected her when her bottom was ABUSED when I left her there. ALL of this is UNACCEPTABLE for an infant who can't defend, care for, or speak for herself to be treated this way.I raised the issue to administrator & was asked if we were still a good fit for the center. I kept my daughter home due to illness on Feb 3 & went to give our 2 week notice. I was told to consider Feb 2 our last day. I had no intention of bringing her back & was surprised they weren’t going to charge us for the last 2 weeks –I later realized they didn’t want me to talk to other parents about the problems there. I advised the managing director that I would be reporting the center to DCFS on Feb 5.No one is a good fit at this center if you watch what is going on & raise any concerns (it is met with dismissal & condescension), or expect basic needs to be met for the $$$ you pay. I raised issues to the higher level ghost-like director who's contact information is not readily available ANYWHERE and was met with the standard "I am sorry for your experience" "I stand by my staff" "We uphold our standard of care" - If this is the standard, your infant will receive better care at doggie daycare. If anyone has any questions for me to answer directly wi

I've been sending my children to momentum for years and recommend it to everyone. They have a really great and attentive staff. I love that they have cameras so I can peek in on my kiddos when I miss them.

A friend that I use to work with has their daughter go to Momentum, and they love it! The staff is very attentive, responsive and they take great care of her! This center sets the bar very high!
