Storage unit is great. Good location. Online registration/renting is a pain in the ass and hard to understand. Still can't log in to my account. Need to call em again.

Pretty much paid them (on time, never late)& then I show up at my unit, and my stuff is all gone! Found out that they sold the building! Thieves & liars!! My kids pictures are all gone, family members that have passed away - their pictures are all gone! So stressful and upsetting. All my stuff I had in the storage ( 4 years) just gone... Please rent from someone else.because if you live far from the unit ur stuff just might disappear and not from random people..... It would be this crooked company and they do everything to not pay for what they did

Awesome to setup and easy move in. That's where it ends.
People dumped items/garbage in front of our unit constantly. Advised KO about it and nothing was done. No security cameras on-site. No tracking of traffic in or out of storage.
Purchased their insurance through Bader Insurance. Nothing on there stated anything about if your unit is broken into that it had to show forced entry. Well, our unit was professionally broken into and police report filed. Most of our stuff was stolen. Scam of an insurance company and do NOT recommend.
Everyone has advised us that this was an inside job because KO would be the only ones to know who has insurance on each unit and aware there can't be forced entry shown to the locks.
I wouldn't recommend using them for your storage needs.

They want $20 extra to pay by phone now. I don't even have checks for my debit check card. They have been increasing the rate every month as well. Very rude customer service and I don't recommend them at all.

Andrew did a great job of setting me up with another unit right beside the one I have. Great service, quick process, easy access to the facility from either Tomah or the interstate. Very happy with KO Storage.

WARNING ⚠️ ⚠️
My brother in law and fiancé have a storage unit here. My fiancé went to grab an air mattress and pump for our kids to have a nice sleepover.. only to find EVERYTHING gone. He contacted the police and the policeman said it wasn't the first time it's happened and the owner doesn't seem to want to do anything about it.
Take your things to a facility that actually cares and sets up security cameras.

I've been renting a unit on Mccoy blvd. for about 3 years now....the rent continues to increase (currently $122/ month). I went to my unit the other day and noticed some things missing (air conditioners, expensive luggage, ect.) I called and talked to the company, they told me the manager would be In contact with me ( Noone has called), they were going to email me information about filling an insurance claim (never received anything). Why doesn't a facility like this have cameras?? I'm very disappointed and will be relocating my belongings somewhere else ASAP!!!

It was so easy to call and get everything all set up. The lady was so nice and walked me through everything and was the First place I’ve even been offered insurance, So that was nice. I loved how when I needed help getting in she was very helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

I was moving from the east side of the state to the west side and it was such a comfort to have the storage unit. I was able to move my stuff on my weekends off it was centrally located so when I bought my house it was easy to move my things to the new house. There staff is polite and very helpful would use KO storage again.
