Got a quote from them for about 1200.00 dollars got a second opinion. It was for front wheel bearing and axle replacement.
Brought it to a different shop.
Replaced the wheel bearing it didn't need a axle shaft.
The other shop did the bearing and a brake job with new calipers.
For 450.00. Dollars.
I will never go there again.
Beware people if you don't know anything about mechanics of a car.
Very disappointed.
Not good business ethics.

We hit a rock and blew a tire on the highway. The donut spare got us to the local tire dealer, Schierl Tire & Auto. Tyler and the team provided outstanding customer service. They tried to fix the rim, ran into a problem, and ended up resolving the issue by using another rim and tire off a junked car. They mounted three new tires (we needed them any way) and did all this in about an hour before closing. We were on our way home in no time. Tyler was extremely helpful and the installation TEAM was fast and efficient. All around great service on short notice!

5 stars all day!!! I went in for an Oil change, and was informed wires were showing on my tires!!! I explained my financial hardship to Nick and he gladly walked me through the most cost effective options, and payment methods available if I used the Goodyear credit card! He walked me through a couple tires and their specific benefits, without pressuring me in any way… he even showed sincere concern for my safety if I continued to drive with my tires in the shape they were in. Absolutely amazing!

A piece of metal debris flew off of a truck while we were making our way up to Tomahawk. Once we arrived our car indicated we had a flat. We brought her to Schierl right away. They found a small piece of metal and repaired the tire. Tyler thoroughly explained their process and then DID NOT CHARGE US FOR THE SERVICE. When does that even happen in this day and age?!!? For the entire week we walked around telling everyone who would listen to us to go to Schierl for service. We drove back to Galena, IL, then Chicago, and back to Galena without any tire issues. A wonderful experience!

Schierl Tire & Auto Service sure helped us out in a pinch. Truck broke down while my military son was using it on leave and we needed it to get him back to the airport. They got it in and out for us the same day. Thank you so much!!!

I'm so mixed with this place. I'm not local but had a semi tire replaced when in the area. I know it's new owners and going through changes but can't give it 5 stars. The service guy was awesome and deserves 5 stars. He was friendly and made you feel better about a bad situation and a bad day. The counter guy seamed short and like I was bothering him to spend money. I get that it's not a schedule repair but having the service guy do a car first when no one was waiting seamed off. The $25 fuel surcharge to change a tire in their parking lot was probably the kicker for me. I'm sure some of it is growing pains and new people in new rolls. Way better experience then I had a few years ago in wausau from a different well known service truck getting a tire replaced.Service: Tires
