Volunteering at the Sharing Center allows me to make a tangible impact by helping to alleviate food insecurity in the community. It’s rewarding to see the gratitude on people's faces when they receive their groceries. The teamwork and camaraderie among the volunteers is a plus!

I bring a friend to the center (the one i donate my items to) and woman with short blonde hair always in a ponytail, has followed us around, gone through my bag, embarrassed us in front of everyone simply because we didn't know the new donation rules, chastised my friend for standing by the counter when there was no seating room, butted in when i asked a different person a question, accused me of stealing from the center to her manager bc i look around and grab things i think my friend would like (if she doesn't i put them back), assumes she knows other people's styles and sizes and if she doesn't think something would fit you she says you can't take them, and so on and so forth. I'm a kind, generous person helping an elderly woman get assistance and I've never been made to feel as small as this woman makes me feel. My friend can be blunt and abrupt and gets upset when embarrassed and one time said 1 thing that was inappropriate, but has not been rude any other time i have been with her. People are humbled enough by needing help. They do not need likely paid employee (not a volunteer) embarrassing them and talking to them like they're trash.

The long haired younger blonde is very rude and heartless. Every time we go in she makes things harder for us each time. All the other staff are very accommodating except her which makes putting down 1 star very hard for me but she has ruined our experience there as a whole. We always hope she isn't there when we get there, I have sat in the car outside debating on even going inside and getting help because of her. I have sent in a complaint about her a few days ago and havent heard back. Which makes me assume that nothing will happen and she will continue causing problems. We never cause problems, we never give attitude, we just ask alot of questions because our family is in need. And she acts like it's a burden any time we ask anything. I'd like the bullying from her to stop, and now. We expect less attitude the next time we come in. If nothing is done then I will talk to someone in person about it the next time we come in. This will not be ignored.

I have come to place several times when we were going through a rough patch.Im so confused by the reviews. Everybody here has always been so kind. The director is an absolute doll. She helped me to gain employment and through her and the resources she gave me I was able to cut out some of my debt and manage my money better. I am so grateful to all the beautiful people here.
