Took them two weeks of one question emails to finally reject my application and imply that I was responsible for the recent death of my elderly cat. I can tell they care about cats, but my experience with Angel's wish was not good. Looking forward to finding my new fuzzy buddy somewhere else.

We adopted our baby, Ruby (formerly Honey Crisp), from here as well as two other kitties, Opal and Jasper, last year. Angel's Wish is so devoted to helping cats and finding them the right home. Can't recommend them enough!

I was just about to rescue a kitten. I was then informed that she was a package deal with her brother. So when you see "kittens name, bonded with another kittens name." That means you have to purchase both. That really sucks because most aren't looking for 2 kittens at same time. They could have way more rescues if they didn't make you purchase 2.

It's a good place, they care about their cats, but they're so strict they can deny good pet owners the chance of having a healthy and loving pet. I hope they loosen their restrictions a bit. I know there's people who won't take care of cats, but there's people who will and are not getting through their application process.

You can tell Angel’s Wish cares for their kitties. They have high expectations for the adopter as can be seen though their strong vetting process. Place can be busy on Saturday’s, best if you get pre-approved and if you find a kitty or more on their web site, be there early. We were looking for and found a bonded pair of females. The two new additions have really filled a whole of our recently departed 14 and 19 year old cats.

Angels Wish is a great place to find your furever cat cats or kittens. This organization puts the cats well beings above all else. The staff is helpful to help both you and your pet match.

I had an excellent experience with Angel's Wish! I would recommend adopting from this place. Very friendly and informative volunteers. And I found my new cat, Khloey because of Angel's Wish. I'm so grateful for their work!

Wow - this place is fantastic!!I attended my first event last weekend and was so impressed by the friendly volunteers and the facilities. The cats seemed so happy and the rooms were ideal for getting to know the kitties. The volunteers were so helpful and someone was always checking to make sure I didn't have any questions. I found out they also bring in cats from shelters that are over-run - so pleased to hear this. I highly recommend adopting from Angle's Wish!

This place is extremely clean and tidy. The entire inside looks nice and updated. The cats are kept either in nicely sized condos or in visiting rooms. The volunteers/staff are incredibly nice and seem to really care about the cats. The adoption process is fairly easy. I recommend completing the online form before coming in.

I was shopping at Petsmart while Angel's Wish was having an adoption event there. I needed to grab supplies quick and leave but had a negative interaction with one of the volunteers. The group was in front of where I needed to grab some bedding for my rabbit and my dog briefly got too close to one of the crates. One of the volunteers kept an eye on the situation (my dog is good with my cat at home so I didn't think too much about there being an isssue) but another woman approached pretty aggressively and snapped at me pulling the table away and told me to get my dog out of the cats face. I understand the safety concern but there are gentler ways to approach those types of situations. Volunteers are representatives of the nonprofit, salespersons and animal advocates. I didn't deserve to be scolded in that way and if the volunteers are going to act out like that the cats who deserve to be adopted won't be due to their caretakers poor attitude.

"Holier Than Thou" adoption agency. Easier to adopt a child than a cat. They don't want you to adopt so don't waste your time. Also as some of the other reviews have eluded to, if you have EVER had a cat pass away from old age you will be denied. Their expectation is that you will keep the cat on life support indefinitely.

I understand that rescue’s have the right to choose who receives the animals and who doesn’t, BUT to lie and say that “ At this time, we are unable to approve your application. Unfortunately, we have been unable to establish a consistent pattern of wellness exams and vaccinations for your previous pet(s). Our organization requires these to be completely yearly (or at the recommendation of your vet).”, you NEVER even contacted them to find out that he had 2 (two) vets in his pets whole life. Shots, check up, dental work, neutered, groomed every 4 weeks in his pets life he only had two groomers. THE PET WAS HIS BEST FRIEND, spoiled, pampered, loved beyond measure. If you had let him adopt one of your animals it would of had its best life. I feel bad for the animals that won’t get that chance. Just be careful because you could miss out on a really good match. I will never recommend this “rescue” to anyone. Oh and Fyi he does know about cat’s and their health he grew up with both cats and dogs.

They denied our application for adopting two kittens because we didn't take our previous cat to the vet every year for a checkup. That's ridiculous

We chose Angels Wish to adopt a cat from and we had a great experience. The space was clean and we felt the cats were well-taken care of. Shout out to Amy, Amanda and Angela for their friendliness and helpfulness as we met with cats and found one to adopt! Quick note - check out their website and put in an application for some cats ahead of visiting so you can be approved to adopt the same day! That helped us out a lot.

I attempted to volunteer at AW. I Loved the Kitties, the customers and the New Volunteers - most of the ‘old’ volunteers Not so much. There was No Empathy from most of the ‘Old’ volunteers to the New volunteers. No Smiles or Kindness from most of them to the New Volunteers. When they placed me on the inactive list I was very surprised they even knew who I was because when I was there no one seemed to care. Yes, I had some difficulties with their sign up sheet, and yes I did leave early on occasion but only after I observed the volunteers were just standing around looking for things to do. My advice to AW is to be Kind and Empathetic to All New Volunteers and take them under Your Wing. New Volunteers Care but need a lot of direction and Kindness from the ‘Old” Volunteers. Thank You for reading this and continue to support AW - is Is a Wonderful place to adopt Your Kitty! Nancy Julien
