Rick was extremely helpful and the wines he recommended me are amazing! He mentioned wine tasting that they have, and I really like that this place is ran by a family. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be back!

Friendly staff and great selections, and we love the free Friday wine tastings that have helped us discover new favorites.

Ermagersh. This store sells things we love. Wonderfully curated selection, great recommendations, and amazing wine and beer selections. I will be back soon. I can't say enough about the personal selection help from the owner. I am very impressed.

Always very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Marvelous selection of wines, as well as beer. If they don't have the exact bottle you're looking for, can recommended an excellent substitute.

Easily the most helpful and professional shopping experience I’ve ever had (for anything). The owner really knows his stuff and is very patient and thoughtful. There needs to be a 6-star option for places like this.

Great selection and good prices. If you like to shop local, then this should be your go to place over grocery stores and chain liquor stores.

If you are in the Verona area and or visiting, this is your spot! I rarely drink anymore, but when the boss sends me to get wine or beer. This is the best spot in Madison. Rick the owner is one of the most knowledgeable cats in the liquor industry. I started going here years ago and would pick out anything I wanted to my liking. NOW I just walk in, and Rick asks "what's for dinner" hands me whatever we need to pair with the current meal and BAM, amazing everytime! Nothing he stocks in his store is bad. Then you get amazing customer service and some laughs in all at the same time. Check this place out trust me you won't be disappointed! Local businesses are the way to go, we need to support them!

Pound for pound best wine shop in the Madison area. I recently went in to get some wines for a tasting and worked with Rick on crafting a list. He came in at just over half the budget I gave him and recommended some really unique and interesting wines. He truly cares more about getting you exactly what you want/need, even if it means foregoing some extra revenue. Every time I stop by I somehow walk out spending less than I expected to, but never at the expense of quality.Although the selection may seem smaller at first (especially if you're used to Woodman's or Total Wine), you'll quickly realize he carries a highly curated selection of affordable, quality bottles with all of the classics, as well as some more "niche" regional wines. There is no BS filler on the shelves and $15-$20 will go further here than any other shop in the Madison area.
