Dirty dirty dirty practices. They'll sell a car drop the gavel then keep raising the bid.

The car is sold until someone wants to pay more.

Way to blow your reputation over 2k. You sold that man that car then took it away from him. He yelled sold, make it right admit you messed up.

they will slam the hammer on a bid, say sold then gaslight you that none of it happened. I hope the auctioneer gets reported to the board.

Extremely disappointed that Mecum is no longer on Motortrend and has moved to ESPN+ a pay platform. From looking at there reviews they aren’t all they are cracked up to be. How much money is enough.

For 15 years we were die hard Mecum fans but not anymore - we watched every auction and attended when we could - we have autographs from JK, Scott Hoke, Bill Stevens and Steven Cox - we purchased a vehicle at the Glendale auction and that was a miserable experience - everything that mecum personnel touched was mishandled - everything - the car we bought had a damaged title that Mecum consignors should have spotted - it took 8+ weeks to get it resolved - in the meantime, the seller had their money and we couldn't drive the car - kudos to Brian Hansen in Customer Service who refunded ALL of our Buyer's Fee - what's that tell you? - wish we could have accepted the refund graciously and moved on, but the dumpster fire continued - Christina Rawlins was useless, argued with us, gave us either no information or misinformation, and she was very hard to work with - can not say enough about how terrible the entire experience was - it's actually very disappointing - they may be able to sell 1500+ cars at a time, but their communication skills need some work - we're in the SW U.S. and we'll take our business back to McCormick in Palm Springs.

I am totally against using ESPN+ streaming only. It should be on Motortrend or a regular channel also.

I purchased a 1978 Corvette at Mecum Auctions when it was in Kissimmee, FL in January 2025. Mecum mandated I use them to transfer the title and pay the taxes. I paid the money and I haven’t heard from anyone since. Here it is almost April and I haven’t heard yet to get the title even after numerous calls and emails. Very disappointing. Use Caution if you plan to attend Mecum Auctions

Hands-down, the worst company that I have ever, ever dealt with. Don’t even bother!
I ordered from the Mecum auction site before Christmas. The website informed me it would arrive before Christmas.
Worse than that. No communication after multiple emails from me. Not able to find a phone number for customer service. Give them your money and they will leave you in the dark.

Kissimmee Auction was my first Mecum Auction. The Experience was Fantastic!
