Very attentive service from this family business! New, super clean bathroom/shower. Wi-Fi and store. Filtered water out to the wall. Nice picnic table area with a covered pergola as well. Car available to borrow. We rented bikes from the business next door. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend them!

Super friendly family business! Clean bathroom/shower, great area to grill dinner and relax. Tie up to dock was super easy. When realizing that most local restaurants were closing, Steve was kind enough to bring out a couple of cold ones to keep us sailors happy!! Adorable store with great merchandise!

We stayed here June 6th, 2023. I’d highly recommend stopping here! We made the trip from Charlevoix and didn’t have cell service until late in the day. They were welcoming as we came in around 9pm and helped us tie up after they were closed for the day. Thanks for the “Wisconsin” welcome!!

Nice little shop, and very friendly people, but I thought it was branded as a sporting goods/outfitter type store. It was mostly clothes including some very pricey 'HUK' and 'KUHL' shirts and pants. Had maybe 5 buck knives in a display case, 2 fishing poles without reels, and one reel in a case. More of a souvenir shop than an outdoors shop in my opinion.

Love this shop. Last year we were looking for life vests and they went above and beyond to locate some for our kids when there were none to be found. Super friendly, helpful and have a great selection of items in their shop.

Newer shop on the Island and love looking around at the shirts and hoodies. They also have plenty of other things to offer! Add new items from last year and seem to be a little better quality. Highly recommend stopping in and looking around.

I stopped in at Island Outpost with my husband and 3 teenagers on our first trip to Washington Island. We all found something that we couldn’t live without! The Washington Island jacket that my daughter chose is one of her favorites! I get so many compliments on my Orca insulated martini glass. The staff was also very friendly and treated us like family! Can’t wait to go back again

Steve, Jan and Grayson were excellent hosts! They were genuinely concerned that our boat was secured (and offered extra fenders!) for the storm coming in. Their store carries high quality apparel and merchandise! Highly recommend and already looking forward to seeing you next year!
