The Walgreens in Waterford is not the place to get prescriptions from! The gentleman at the drive thru window literally said two words to me, didn’t speak with the pharmacist, didn’t ask my date of birth or if I had any questions on my new prescription, slammed the drive thru phone down twice. Wore a belt around himself of white skulls, and a pentagram necklace. Will not be going back. Absolutely gross customer service!!!!

This location in Waterford told me I could not get a refill for a prescription I never had until next year! I explained the error and they told me I needed to call the insurance and my doctors office!

Been going here for years out of convenience, but this place is notoriously atrocious. The workers hate their jobs, and the pharmacy is composed of people who don't care about you. There's always some kind of issue. And if you're trans, seeking HRT, prepare for weird looks of disapproval, getting misgendered, and needless complications. Perfect in the context of the town, which lacks diversity already.

Something happened with the Walgreens app not fully going through for my vaccine shot, but the pharmacy staff graciously and quickly took care of the registration and got me into the shot room and on my way! Thanks Colleen!

This is just all my personal opinion/belief and my personal experiences but Be careful with this location! I'm a bit suspicious of their pricing tactics. Always pay very close attention to the price of your items and then triple check your receipts! Most of the times I've been there(which is a lot due to it being the only one close i can get to) there is ALWAYS multiple errors. The price I'm charged at register doesn't match the shelf price. Whether its on sale items or just regular priced. It seems the difference is usually $5 or under so it doesn't always draw attention and most people won't go all the way back in to correct it if they do happen to notice. Can't help but wonder if this is deliberate due to how often it happens. Which is 99% of the time. I know it may only be a few bucks, but with all the shoppers combined that adds up to quite a bit of stolen money for the store.
Also don't even bother with shopping on the app or placing a 'pick up order' cuz that's even worse of a rip off! At checkout, your showed the total but you press to confirm and pay and suddenly the price is higher? And also if you do place a pick up order, while there picking up, make a quick stroll through the store and notice the shelf prices of your order. Almost always, it's cheaper and you were overcharged. I wonder if all walgreens are shady like this? With the differences usually being under $5, most people won't even notice or will just brush it off. I think that's what they are counting on? Both in store and pick up, this all happens way too much to be just coincidence in my opinion. I think it's time I start researching not just this location but all walgreens to see if this is common practice and may need to involve corporate headquarters at this point. What a shame. PS- Also for the pharmacy, they NEVER have the meds in stock for my prescription. That I get literally every single month for years. Yet every month I'm waiting days for it to get in stock. Really? Order the d@mn meds and keep them in stock already!! Not hard!

This review is for the pharmacy only. They are understaffed, very rude, and make way to many mistakes. I am in the process of getting my medications transferred. There is NO Excuse for the rude behavior of their pharmacy cashiers. People are sick, sad, hurt, etc. Pharmacy staff should be helpful and compassionate. And medication fill mistakes, lost or missing fills that say they are ready for pick up, wrong insurance entered, refill errors...how can you trust a pharmacy like this?
EDIT 06.10.24
Same girl at the pharmacy drive thru. Attitude problem, rude. I filled out the online satisfaction form this time. She needs to not work the customer side of the pharmacy. She needs to be where no cistomers are!

Wish I could give zero stars! Also should has read reviews before choosing this pharmacy! Dropped off my post op scripts after significant surgery, husband went back 20 minutes later and they weren’t ready! An hour and a half to fill pain medicine. Completely unacceptable! Don’t go here for your medicine. Shop there for other items cashiers are friendly!

This is the second time I went to pick up NEW prescriptions and had the same girl each time with an extreme attitude problem. Having never taken these medications she did not ask if I wanted to talk to the pharmacist. She just hangs up the phone with an attitude-no hi or bye. I had to pay out of pocket for one of my prescriptions and it seemed odd to me so I asked her if she could look to see if it was covered and she literally slams the phone down and has an attitude about that too. I gave her the benefit of the doubt the first time thinking maybe she was just having a bad day but no shes always rude like this.

The 2nd time I used an rx card it was 70 dollarsFriday they told me they don't sell it anymore. But called me 15 minutes later saying they did.For 150. Dollars. A week with out pain meds is sad.

Transferred my prescriptions here after moving. Worked as a pharmacy tech for years at another Walgreens and had my profile completely set up before I left and started a different career. They somehow managed to make me a new profile, combine it with my existing Walgreens profile, lose all my allergy info, butchered my insurance, set me up for save a trip refills without asking permission so my schedule was ruined, and could only talk to the pharmacist when I needed help because I could not get an answer out of anyone else.
