I am a car guy. I do what I can and when I can't I have a couple shops that I trust. Well the transmission on the Focus decided it wanted attention beyond my talent level. Because of the issues with this transmission design I take it to the dealer, which I am not a fan of. In the past my local Ford dealership in Oconomowoc has done as little as possible under warranty. The last issue I was told that the fix was not covered. So, I fixed it. But this time around I wasn't so fortunate, I knew what to do but I lacked the tools and really the confidence. And there was the hope that Ford would stand behind the issue they created and we're sued over. Being the car broke down in Watertown and I only had 1,3, and 5th gear I take it to the dealer around the corner from where the car broke down, conveniently near GRINWALD FORD. So off I go. The car sits a week to get looked it. I get a call from Ariel, super friendly, up beat and just nice. I was given a run down and heard, COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. I asked 4 times and was told, COVERED but the parts won't be in for over a week. Ok, fine, I then ask if they have a loaner. Usually I'm laughed it, but not this time they hook me up with a new Escape. The parts came in May 19th and the work was done by 4pm, that day. Joe calls me and the car is done. He then goes into the cost, whoa time out, what about warranty. I told it was covered. I stopped short of accusing Ariel of lying when I was told it was covered. He then says "I need to talk to the higher ups" and he'll call me back. Here's where I'm like, Son of a biscuit!!! The work is done, they are back pedaling, not good. Within 5 mins Joe calls back and says, "Dave we're good. Come and get your car. We made the mistake and we stand behind it". I was shocked. I have not been treated like this, at this level, in a long time. The level of service I received was beyond good. There was less than a 3 minute dialog that involved them eating a large amount of cost. No pressure, no greasy sales BS, none of it. They apologized to me for the mistake. I am blown away. Grinwald Ford in Watertown gets it. They get what it means to be in the service industry. I will do what I can to support them. I read their reviews and they were spot on. There is something to still be said about small town, family owned business, even if they carry a corporate brand. Thank you GRINWALD Ford.

Arielle was FANTASTIC. I ran into a issues with my F350, and she was able to sneek me and got my truck back the same day. Arielle sure knows the meaning of customer service. I give her 5 stars.

My wife and I came to test drive some vehicles only to find the ones online were not the all the ones they had in stock. The first vehicle we had pulled hard to left, brakes were touchy, and just felt like it was given a bandaid to be sold which turns out to be true.We expressed our concerns in hopes to still buy if fixed. But the salesman decided to disregard our concern stating "it rained this week. There's ruse on the brakes which could cause the rotors to grind and jut" which isnt true. You drive and hard brake to get that rust off and its fine. Not juttering. The salesman stated that hybrids can have lane assist and that the one we drove didn't and perhaps the roads were 'slick'. We were not born yesterday and it isn't our first time driving different cars. The roads weren't wet that day.We were disregarded. Our price range and desire was disregarded as the shark really ONLY cared about the upsale. We informed we would be comfortable at 275 monthly which was the lot we were in. Salesman talked down those cars and tried to uphold a 2020 or newer for $350 a month stating "for just a little bit more monthly you can have a brand new more reliable car." See, when you're a shark and ONLY care about money you lose your customers. They proceeded to keep emailing us offers WELL above our price range talking about 'good deal'You want a good deal? Go to Legacy Auto Sales in Waterloo. Those people give you EXACTLY what you're looking for and CAN upsale REASONABLY. THAT'S WHERE WE WENT TO PURCHASE OUR CAR! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

(Here’s my honest review, for what it’s worth) I would’ve gave five stars, if it didn’t take over a month.Took my car in due to vibration at high speeds. (Right CV axel and power take off) I have an extended warranty so they covered it all, but for the first two weeks the dealership and warranty company had troubles communicating. After many phone calls by all parties, that was cleared up and work was scheduled for a few weeks later. They didn’t have any loaners available. A couple days before the car was to be fixed (over a month later) I was told to come in and grab a loaner vehicle. I took a cab there and was told I had to be a couple years older to get a loaner vehicle, unfortunately. I didn’t know, and nobody asked me my age. So overall, there were some frustrations with time and communication, but the mechanics did a great job. Also, the warranty saved me over $2,400 dollars that I would’ve otherwise had to pay to get my car fixed there. They fixed the problem and my vehicle drives a lot better, so I’m happy, Thanks!
