Terrible customer service. they will cancel your appointment if you’re 5 minutes late, but it’s okay to make u wait 15+ minutes. My dog went in for a lump on his leg. The vet said he needed surgery to have it removed. A different vet did the surgery and turns out it was just an infection. It could have been treated with antibiotics. No apology or anything. $950 for something that could have just been the cost of antibiotics. Don’t recommend and will not return.

My dogs have been patients at Kuenzi Family Pet Hospital since 2003. The staff and veterinary team are excellent and provide a high level of service and compassion. They have, on more than one occasion, fit us in or provided tele-health care on short-notice. i highly recommend them!!

I have been going to Kuenzis for over 17 years with 5 different dogs, although I have had a break for the last couple years, but now I have a puppy and I will not be going there again. I was an ious to have my puppy get fully vaccinated so I could start taking him to classes, etc. He had his first shots with the breeder and second round at Kuenzis. He was scheduled for his third and final round last Monday at 11:30. I got a confusing reminder email late last week which I glanced at and thought it said the appointment was for 11:40. In fact, that reminder was for an appointment in mid-December and made no mention of the Monday appointment. As I was getting ready to come, I managed to lock myself and my puppy out of my house. Then, I realized I had a key for just my car in my purse, so I used that, forgot my purse in my garage, and sped off for what I thought was my 11:40 appointment. When I got there, I had to call to let them know I was there so they could come out and get the dog (they're remodeling so no customers are allowed inside). I discovered a problem with my cell phone in which I could see nothing on the screen, so I could not call. After trying to find a dark spot in my car, I finally went to the door and knocked and then opened the door a bit. Someone came to see what I wanted. I told her I was there for my appointment. She said I was 20 minutes late and would have to reschedule. I looked at my watch, and it read 11:45. So I was not 20 minutes late even using the 11:30 time, and I was still convinced the reminder said 11:40. I had probably spent at least 5 minutes fiddling with my cell phone trying to let them know I was there. Nevertheless, they would not see me and said I would have to reschedule for some time probably way down the road. I understand that being late is a problem in the schedule, but I would have hoped that all my years of loyalty, the hours I have spent waiting for them at various appointments, and the literally thousands of dollars I have paid to that clinic would get me a little break. But apparently not as the attendant said she had checked with Dr. Rachel and the head doctor and both said they would not see my dog for his vaccination. I guess when one is going to practice assembly line medicine, which is apparently the direction this clinic is going, there is no room for a little compassion. The final blow was when I was getting ready to leave and wanted to just stick my head in their door so I could see the screen on my cell phone to make a call--about 30 seconds with me only putting my arm inside, the attendant shooed me away saying that was not allowed. I deserved to be treated better. I will not be returning. I will miss seeing Dr. Hillary, who I saw before with other dogs, but that is all.

Recently took in my new adopted cat for a full exam to find out what she is allergic to. Ms. Lauren was excellent! Within a few hours, my little girl was ready to be picked up. Lauren kept me 100% informed on how my cat was tolerating the exam, how well she behaved, and gave me all the info I needed. I was told what my cat is allergic to, what ingredients to avoid, and she recommended the brand of food I should buy to avoid any allergic reactions in the future. Lauren was kind, sympathetic, and knowledgeable! She also informed me of a potential medical issue and what prevention techniques to use to keep my cat healthy. This was a great experience!

I cannot say enough positive comments. Our kitty developed kidney failure and Dr. Rachel was wonderful throughout her treatment. She always made time to evaluate her condition and speak with us honestly about options and prognosis. She will always be our first choice veterinarian. She helped us make the devastating decision we needed to make for our Lucy. Top notch all the way. The office staff were always helpful and highly competent. Their care and treatment of our kitty was very kind and compassionate.

I have always received great service from the reception staff, from the technicians, and from multiple doctors. They are knowledgeable and trustworthy. After my dog was attacked, by another dog, at the dog park I called and told them what happened and they told me to come right over. They did emergency surgery on him and all was good. I am never left feeling like I overreacted my situation or judgement. I love it here.

I have taken all my dogs over the years to Kuenzi and have always had nothing but kindness and excellent care. The front staff, the technicians, and the veterinarians have been considerate and caring.

After my dog only being on prescribed medication for 4 days and becoming very lethargic and not really knowing what was wrong with him it was advised to put him down even though he was not suffering or in pain I made the gut wrenching decision to listen to the vet. After arriving back home I did further research and discovered he most likely had an overdose type of reaction and had a favorable chance of returning to normal. I now bare the pain of putting down my baby. I don’t believe they can recognize this type of issue.

We love Kuenzi Pet Hospital! Our 10 month old (very sassy) puppy got into some trouble in our yard. Although there were no immediate openings for him to be seen, vet tech Marie checked in with us throughout the day to be sure our pup (and I) were doing ok. Thank you for your care and concern. <3Joanne and Dave

Finally, a vet that both listened to a knowledgeable owner, was knowledgeable and able to confidently express his suggestions but wise enough to give a couple treatment options with the logic to back each. We saw Dr. Alex, and would recommend him to any dog but particularly German Shepherd owners. Two previous clinics provided one who didn't listen and another who couldn't make a solid treatment recommendation.

Overall I've felt really great about this place, but after covid I don't trust my dog there. She was terrified to go when she has always loved the vet, now she hides and pees all over the floor. Currently looking for a different vet because I dont trust them now due to how she acts. Be mindful your pets will tell you how they are feeling, and I cant out her through that stress again.

I am so happy with the care my dog receives at this clinic! The staff, from the care coordinators & vet techs & vets, is so friendly and welcoming…whether it is my wacky Labrador puppy filled with love and extra, extra energy to my outdoor cats I made an appointment for with zero judgement and full confidence in handling them.

This review is long overdue! I have taken my puppy to Kuenzi Family Pet Hospital four times in the past two months (two regular puppy visits, one urgent visit, and one emergency visit). I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about my experience with KFPH from the moment I called to schedule my first appointment to the moment I checked out this past week. Within those four visits I met with 3 different vets (Kevin, Alex, and Sarah) and a number of techs and assistants (special shout out to Marie for exceptional care and Mandi for her enthusiasm!).For both the urgent and emergency visit my puppy was able to be seen right away. I was overwhelmed with concern during the emergency visit, but Marie and Alex immediately made me feel more at ease because of their amazing care. Both Kevin and Sarah dedicated a lot of time answering my questions during my routine and urgent visits. The care team here is the real deal and will do what is best for your pet! I can't recommend Kuenzi Family Pet Hospital enough.
