There always seem to be interesting treasures to be discovered at this store.

Went in excited to thrift again after the remodel, and was unpleasantly surprised by the jump in pricing. This is no longer an affordable thrift point. Sad to see all of the affordable places no longer being affordable.

There always seem to be interesting treasures to be discovered at this store. On our trips up from Florida, we always look forward to our stop at this St Vincent de Paul store. Great for us and a fine charity. The workers and volunteers are just super.

Not bad to look around and appreciate the free bakery for those who need it, but was disappointed in the pricing. Why is it so expensive? They wanted $20 for a wicker basket. No wall art cost less than $15. Sofas were all over $500, with some in the $1000s. A lot of what they're selling you can buy brand new for less... Kinda crazy considering they get all this for free.

Had a horrible experience trying to donate a dining set at SVDP Saturday October 27th. The donation clerk was rude, called the furniture "Trash", said that SVDP was not a dumpster site and used the F-bomb in speaking to us. The set was wrought iron with a glass top in good condition. I expected more from a Christian organization that purports to be helping the needy. I would also expect better decorum from any business. That behavior has no place in the public forum, more especially from a business that gets what they sell for free. We are done with SVDP and I urge others to be moved by this testimony.

Don’t waste your time trying to donate. They turn away everything I’ve brought them. Waste of time. The items aren’t supposed to be brand new. It’s for donated used items. Brought them clean perfectly usable items and they still deny the items. What a joke of a place.

The new management of this store has raised prices dramatically and stopped returns. Any collectible items that go on the shelf for $20-30 gets wrapped on all sides in packing tape that will rip the boxes or packaging. They are selling Xbox 360 games that have cracked and scratched discs for $8-9 dollars and "no returns"Cashiers will say "oh, I asked them to hold this for me in the back" when you bring an item up to purchase. They are incredibly slow to bring out new stock because they are more concerned about making sure it is priced the highest amount possible first. The furniture has become outrageous since goodwill stopped carrying furniture. Press board bookshelves that are $40 at Walmart will be $70 here. Old tables and chairs for $100.No longer a good thrift store, I have stopped spending much money here at all.The new management does not understand that selling 100 items for $4 is better than selling one item for $20. And they'll throw those items in the dumpster before pricing them at anything close to what people will pay. After all, they got it for free, so what do they have to lose?

Not sure what these other reviewers are talking about but I know two or three people who have reached out to Saint Vinnie's conference seeking Aid and help with whatever they were seeking, and to not even get a call back or email or text message and nothing and they acquired on their help two or three times says a lot about these people I'm not trying to hear the excuses save them these people claim they spread all this money back into the community the community is their pockets I'm making aware of this thing now St Vincent doesn't help anybody and we started a Facebook group showing this place

Not sure about the reviewers talking about how good the prices are and wondering if they are even talking about the same location. Unfortunately this is another thrift store getting out of control with pricing. I have examples - currently in the store there is a platter that is priced at 299.99-- you saw that number correctly $300 for a platter at St Vincents. Who is going to buy this? By the way I had to research to see why this would be so expensive and it is not-- you can literally buy the piece online for half the price or lower if you search for a bit. I went down the aisles and spotted a figurine priced at $17?? A bowl for $18, a vase for $17, a very broken figurine piece in the case for $39.99 that has been there for about 2 months and counting because it is priced too high and all broken. I could continue listing examples but you probably get the point. This is considered good pricing at a thrift store???? I thought that thrift stores were getting all of these FREE items and placing them on the shelves at great reasonable prices to help those in need. I think it is despicable that pricing is getting this out of control at any establishment that is getting merchandise dropped off and handed to them. Those in poverty would like to have nice things as well, do you realize that?? These stores are getting so out of touch. If you are so concerned about researching what you are getting handed to you and pricing at top dollar then drop the thrift store charade and your non profit status and call yourself an antique store. An additional note: I have seen overlapping of their own tags which I am guessing is to make sure you do not get items at 30% or 50% off. I cannot help but think the rave price reviews are from their own staff members because what I am seeing on the shelves is not good pricing at all.

The merchandise is so well organized and the employees are so pleasant. I think it's the best thrift store around.

I love great deals! This place hands down has Goodwill beat by far! At Vincent Waukesha has great variety at reasonable prices like a thrift store should. They help the community as well as give us customers a deal. Today all blue tags were $0.99 and 30% off of yellow tags. I got a cute jacket priced $9.49 for $0.99. I am so thrilled with my treasures I found today and will most definitely pass the word on, as well as return. Thank you for passing on the fortune St Vincent’s by reasonable prices for items donated to you! We appreciate you.

Love this store! Super clean and organized. St Vincent has fantastic prices, and it's nice to give to places like this and Salvation Army, unlike Goodwill whose prices are out of control. The clothes are really organized, as are the home goods and furniture items. They also have colored tag sales. Great great store.

this place whoops goodwill. doesn't smell weird, has good prices, seems to actually help people. big selection of appliances and the usual things old people purchase from infomercials before they kick it.
