Worst Furniture Store I Ever Dealt With. I Told Them 4 Times To To Drop The Furniture After 1PM Monday They Arrived At 12:15 They Were Very Rude. They Dropped Off The Furniture Off In The Driveway In The Rain Worth Over $8,000 Than Charged Me $350 For Delivery. I Would Not Recommend This Company At All Stay Away I Will Not Be Doing Anymore Business.

I have now had two terrible experiences with Steinhafels delivery. My first experience was a couple of years ago I paid for a bed frame to be delivered and assembled. When it came they put it together, however after I noticed it was super wobbly. I walked outside after and noticed screws all over the sidewalk. I realized that these were the screws for the bed frame. I called customer service that I wanted some kind of refund because I paid for it to be assembled and it was not assembled properly. They refused and said "it was delivered so there is nothing we can do" and would not let me even talk to a manager. After weeks of arguing with them they settled on a $25 gift card. Are you kidding me? They are a furniture store, what will $25 do. Today we had decided to give them another chance and purchased a new couch from them. We paid the $230 delivery fee which is insane in its own right. Anyway the couch was supposed to be delivered today. They got the couch into the elevator in my apartment building and brought it to my floor. As they are trying to get it out into the hallway they keep saying it won't fit. However they are barely even trying different angles. They just said get refund and went back down in the elevator with the couch. Again I call customer service and they said we can get refund on the couch but not the delivery fee. I argued again saying it wasn't even delivered. There is no reason I should pay the entire delivery fee I should at least get some kind of refund or if we buy different couch atleast get free delivery on that one. No they will give a credit for the couch but I will have to pay another $230 delivery fee even though the last time they barely even tried to get it out of the elevator. They said no it is company policy that they do not give any refunds on any delivery fees no matter what. This is truly the last time I am shopping there and I advise people to also try to stay clear they do not care about the customer experience at all at Steinhafels.

service is poor. purchased a recliner less than 6 months later it doesn't work. service tech wasnt sure the issue but ordered parts to try. parts came in onky to schedule out a tech to come in 3 more weeks. just received an email stating the parts that came in are wrong. waiting again. once the parts come in, i will likely wait weeks for an appointment. i asked to escalate to a manager, i was told that wasnt possible. Not possible to speak to a manager? why??? Don't purchase from Steinhafels . This is the worst customer service i have ever received for a product i under warranty. They do not care to achieve customer satisfaction . we are basically screwed on a very expensive piece of furniture

So many negative reviews but no issues for us! Purchased two separate sets of couches over the last several months. Both times we visited Steinhafels our experience with the sales people and service were outstanding! One little issue with the wedge section in the sectional. They quickly delivered a new one and picked up the old one. Time will tell how the furniture holds up but so far so good!

Spent an hour testing mattresses, picked out a bedroom set. Told financing was only 12 months ( 2 days later 60 months) passed on the set for that reason. Decided on a mattress went to pay...oh somehow this was the only mattress that was priced wrong...I have worked retail for over 40 years...when the company makes a mistake the company takes the hit...I did not mark the mattress wrong. Instead they did us a "favor" and only raised the price half of the mistake. Under normal circumstances I would have walked, but my husband was brain surgery the following week and we needed a new mattress for him to be "bedridden". I was a faithful steinhafels customer until now. I know losing my business will not matter but if they would have even just mentioned waiting 2 days we would have purchased both the mattress and the bedroom set. If only they would not have made me feel I was being taken advantage of or that bait and switch feeling...I honestly don't feel a mistake on their end should be transferred to me. I know I should have not purchased the mattress but after you spend that much time testing them out and learning about them and you have to wait for delivery and your husband is having surgery...you know your being taken advantage of but you just do it and leave with a bad taste in your mouth. I will not return unless by some miracle they decide to make this right from their end. Just buyer beware.

Used to work here many years ago. Purchased a sofa and loveseat when we bought our house. Fabric is ruined and all cushions are sunk in. Extremely light use, hardly ever sat on. They were trash within 6 months. Went today to buy a bed, because I needed something in a pinch. Went to pay for it and was told "you can't pick anything up on Sunday or Monday anymore" "We don't staff the warehouse." We used to work weekdays, holidays and all weekends. So I didn't get the bed and as I was leaving, there was a woman that was also leaving. She told me she was furious that she paid for their mattress and couldn't get it. I was planning on giving Steinhafels another shot because I have a lot of respect for my team. Some of them still work there. But I'm not going to be back. I had 1200 to spend in my pocket and in less than a month, $4000 to spend on a new sofa. I wish you guys the best of luck. You clearly don't need my money. Good luck.

Purchased a new king size mattress and bed frame back in November and received both products in the beginning of January 2024. After laying on the bed I quickly realized that it was a lot softer than the mattress we tried out in the store. I quickly contacted our sales person and was told I could not return the mattress. Terrible customer service!

I went through a process of looking for home office furniture. This included looking at Steinhafels , a few other stores and online. I found a desk at Steinhafels but also saw the same one online for less. Steinhafels honored their price-matching promise and I was happy to purchase from them. This kind of thing makes us recommend and return to Steinhafels. It’s a good & honest way to deal with customers who do their homework. We appreciate it and refer others to Steinhafels.

I worked at the warehouse for 1 year 2 months as a furniture assembly worker, however I wouldn't recommend to anyone to go work as a furniture assembly worker for there manager Brian Fisher because I got bullied & embarrassed on the work floor in front of all the other assembly workers by him. He made me so uncomfortable I constantly had to go to H.R. on him to file a complaint because he was calling me offensive names like you walk slower than a snail, you walk like a 90 year man, you walk slower than a turtle, making me the laughing stock in front of the whole assembly crew & then I also had a situation where something was wrong with me one day when I came into work & I couldn't figure what was going on & I almost passed out & all Brian Fisher only cared about was picking up the pace & keeping track of the count, he really wasn't concerned about me until after I had said something to him & all he had to say after that is if you don't feel good, then you shouldn't have came into work & then he said along with that if you need to go to the break room you can. Turns out that I almost past out due to pure stress & constant pressure, I was very low on vitamin D, Most patients with vitamin D deficiency are asymptomatic, however if you're exhausted, your bones hurt, you have muscle weakness or mood changes, that's an indication that something may be abnormal with your body," Symptoms of vitamin D deficiency may include: Fatigue. Vitamin D deficiency can lead to a loss of bone density, which can contribute to osteoporosis and fractures (broken bones). Severe vitamin D deficiency can also lead to other diseases: In children, it can cause rickets. Rickets is a rare disease that causes the bones to become soft and bend. When vitamin D levels are low and the body isn't able to properly absorb calcium and phosphorus, there is an increased risk of bone pain, bone fractures, muscle pain and muscle weakness. In older adults, severe vitamin D deficiency (levels less than 10 ng/mL) may also contribute to an increased risk of falls. When rickets is very severe, it can cause low levels of calcium in the blood. This can lead to muscle cramps, fits and breathing difficulties. These need urgent hospital treatment. Rarely, an extremely low vitamin D level can cause weakness of the heart muscle (cardiomyopathy). Though you can feel tired and have excessive sleepiness and worn out for various reasons, low levels of vitamin D could be one of them. Often overlooked and lesser-known symptoms. as a cause vitamin D is vital to bone health and an insufficient amount can cause bone and muscle weakness, which can lead to fatigue. I also found out that I had hernia & with both going on inside me I knew I was in trouble & needed to get help right away for myself, Brian Fisher & all the other managers really didn't care what was going on with me, all they cared about was being at the same work pace as everyone else was & keeping track of the count of how much furniture you scanned, Nobody really ever asked me if I was feeling okay or not just to check on me & the only ones that could sense something was off with me is my house manager & I went to my primary doctor & immediately they said I was lucky I didn't die because I was very very low on vitamin D & since all the managers only cared about making themselves look good to there boss John Haas. It became self employee owned & I liked the job in the beginning, but the only one who runs off the assembly workers & makes them feel uncomfortable & makes them also feel the need to go find another job is Brian Fisher, I am just being honest when I say this he is the one who ruines it all & of course no matter what since he's worked beyond 45 year's at steinhafels warehouse of course management & H.R. is going to back him up & what I don't really like is how Brian Fisher is disrespectful on the work floor & he just gets away with it, in reality name

Purchased a new mattress, bed frame, couch, love seat and recliner from Steinhafels. Delivery drivers were understanding and professional but they showed up with the wrong couch and a damaged bed frame. You can clearly see the dark brown leather couch doesn't make the other fabric in the pics. The drivers even spotted all the damage and wrong couch before I did. Customer service at the store is awful. They had all the products in stock and refused to redeliver what we ordered to make it right. Forced us to reschedule for their error. Bed frame is so damaged it feels like it's going to fall apart and creaks just walking past it. You can't tell from the pictures but the damaged part of the footboard, the top board is loose from the assembly and literally creaks like a shopping cart wheel just touching it. My wife sat on the loveseat and felt a pinch, there was a metal staple in the seat. This is what you get for a $15,000 purchase from them. Our old furniture was in better shape than what we got. Called customer service and was hung up on twice by "Judy". Stated there was no manager there but the drivers were talking to one while at our house. This person has zero customer service skills and should not be in that department. We asked to speak to someone else and she told us to call back and ask for someone else yet she is the only one answering. She finally transferred us after stressing her to do so. The second person still didn't meet expectations but was at least nice and understanding. Our old furniture was hauled away prior and now we are spending New Years with half our order and sleeping on the floor after dropping $15k. They wanted me to leave them a review so here it is. I do not recommend them and urge people to shop elsewhere. I bought a cheap couch for the spare room from Bob's Furniture and received better service for less than $1000.

The salesman went above and beyond with expert knowledge and experience. He had the most patience for this indecisive shopper. The experience, though it was long, still completed my task for the day.Thank you!!! 10 stars for a job well done …. And the nicest salesman I’ve dealt with anywhere lately!!!The turn around or date of delivery was not accommodating so I had to cancel my first choice and go with something w better arrival time.

We visited Steinhafels just to “window shop”as the store was so big. Mary Nichols was our sales associate who was helpful and gracious. We ended up buying a very nice recliner which will be delivered in a week! We also needed a Cerificate of insurance toSatisfy our condo building that the delivery team was insured. We had the certificate within the hour. We are very pleased with our experience.

Had great experiences with Steinhafels until our most recent purchase which we had to cancel. Over the years I've bought 3 living room set, a dining room set, and a bedroom set but had a horrible experience going to buy our 4th living room set from them. Was told 2 of 3 pieces were in stock and the other would he the following Monday. Monday came and went so we called on Tuesday and was told they would be arriving in another week. Fast forward a week and now only one piece came in, well yeah that's all we were supposed to be waiting for. Contacted the "salesman" and couldn't get a straight answer and was told I was mistaken. Mistaken, really cause we asked three times and would not have bought if it wasn't in stock. Long story short could never get a hold of anyone in management and decided to cancel the order and buy directly from the manufacturer, who has it in stock! Had I not been lied to and treated like they had my money what were we going to do I probably would've waited for Steinhafels. Very disappointed and will probably never return to buy more from them again. Also Guardsman is horrible. 30 days to for an initial response to a request for service. Everything about this place isn't as good as it used to be.

We actually enjoyed our visit. Being handicapped the electric scooter was a blessing. My salesman Bruce Wood was fantastic from his personality to his knowledge of furniture you sale. ? Very well done Bruce ?Thanks again BruceBob

I bought a wine cabinet and after unboxing the top left corner was cracked significantly. This was not a clearance item, but was the last one they had, and Steinhafels could not replace. Steinhafels offered a 12% refund or told me I could return it (with a $75 restock fee). Terrible customer service to make me pay for damage I had no control over. I will never use them again or recommend to anyone based on my experience. Also beware, delivery costs are very high, industry standard is free delivery.
