Please beware. You have no way to accurately know what they sell, take, or junk, nor how much they profit. They charge you to set up. They charge you to sell. They offer you pennies on the dollar for what remains AFTER they decide on the prices set. They take a portion of the proceeds THEY report on the sale that they schedule, manage, and work. So they could possibly set the price too high for items they want to sell in their store and then take it for next to nothing when it doesn't sell. Be sure they hold meetings as scheduled (no last minute changes/showing up early to corner the elderly spouse BEFORE others arrive) and that the set-up and sale dates are adhered to so a number of family members can monitor their work. Please note: the workers were very pleasant.

Occasionally, if an individual is patient enough, they happen upon as close to an ideally operated business as possible. This is what I was fortunate enough to find with Today’s Lifestyle Solutions, LLC. Susan, the owner, has that wonderful mix of strong business sense and ability to retain an outstanding, professional, and personable staff to always to available to assist. The Estate Sales she runs are well advertised, customers are treated respectfully, items are displayed in an organized manner; it’s often like going to a museum and finding antiques, books, fine art, jewelry, unique items from around the world with the difference being you can purchase them.I have been to Estate Sales where I’ve walked out after only a few minutes because of cleanliness issues, disorder, lack of pricing, people attending behaving with more of a mob mentality than a consumer one. This never occurs with Today’s Lifestyle Solutions. There is sometimes a short wait to enter to ensure overcrowding doesn’t occur and there has been considerable time put into the layout of items that adds to the general calm spirit.Estate Sales can be, and often are, a time of passing for someone who was loved. Treating their treasures, whether a much loved antique desk, jewelry, crafts, whatever that individual held dear, with respect; knowing that sense of responsibility generates how those passing through to possibly purchase items contributes to the type of respect and goodwill that the surviving loved ones can appreciate. This is a rare quality in an Estate Sale business.I would be remiss is I didn’t mention their store on Sentry Dr. In Waukesha. A lovely collection of just about anything you may be looking for. The lady who is always there is a pleasure to interact with, as is all of Susan’s staff. Well versed in antiques, quick sense of humor, and always happy to assist.Well done Susan and all of your staff. Your hard work and attention to detail pays off.

They had their work cut out for them with me and they certainly got the job done. My house could be equated to a can of sardines, which was transformed into a shiny penny. Thanks TLS Tammi

We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Susan Perry and her employees. They were extremely professional and efficient helping us liquidate the condo we were downsizing from. It was difficult scheduling a sale on our schedule but Susan was great at fitting us in to a schedule.Today’s Lifestyle Solutions uses a bit different approach to an estate sale in that it’s not a 60/40 split of the proceeds but the crews are paid by the hours they work. They are all extremely hardworking and take great care with possessions. She also allows family members to do as much or as little of the work for the sale as possible. Did we make as much money as with other companies? I don’t know but I know the sale was very professionally done, our possessions were displayed in a classy manor, we were able to pay wages to a number of wonderful mature people trying to make ends meet, (which was important to us to be able to give back to our community in some way) the condo cleanliness and condition was extremely well respected! Fortunately we didn’t have a lot of junk to remove so only one dumpster was needed. The few things that were left were distributed to charities and other places of need.Thank you Susan and crew. You made a stressful, difficult part of our move almost enjoyable. We couldn’t be any happier! We feel like Susan and her crew were actually friends by the time we were finished.

Well run estate sale company and my #1 choice to attend their sales. Hopefully they are still doing sales when I need to clean out a house. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and consistent. They take the time to ask what items you are looking for (which they remember) so at the next sale they are pointing out those things in case you didn't notice them. Whether you are a reseller, collector or one who needs basic household furnishings, you will be able to find something at a more than fair price. I research the hundreds of photos posted for each sale. Items for sale are organized as you would find in a retail establishment as space allows. It certainly takes a lot of time to get a household full of processions organized to that degree. I wouldn't know where to start. I do have friends and coworkers asking who I would recommend and my #1 company is Today's Lifestyle Solutions because of my interactions and the fact that they don't take a percentage (which can be as high as 60%). Who really knows what all that stuff is worth! Maybe your grandmother really didn't throw out all those baseball cards afterall. Dealing with liquidating an estate is a stressful time, lots of memories, good or not, that get triggered as items are sorted. You want a company that is respectful of your feelings and I can say I have seen many instances of that with TLS because they allow family to work along side them.

Please BEWARE. Dealing with this company will end up hurting you and those you love the most. The deck is stacked against you. Your elders will not make a profit, but instead will be left holding a hefty bill. Be critical of the contract. This company does not take a percentage of sales like I’ve since found other estate sale companies and auction houses do. They have no incentive to make your sale profitable for anyone else but themselves. Susan, the owner of the company, charges $650 up front then $25-35 per hour per employee to set up the sale. After the sale, when TLS predictably hasn’t sold enough, they will take the rest of your inventory at 10 cents on the dollar (of the value TLS has determined for your items) to stock their store. Plus they will charge you again for putting everything back in the boxes they took them out of. They’ve got you coming and going. Signing their contract takes all your power away and gives you nothing back but a bill. Don’t let TLS take advantage of your grief and desperation, shop around. Or better yet give your items to those in need, which you can do for free. Read my other reviews to see that I’m a reasonable consumer, not one of the negative Nellies, who can never be satisfied, who you often see writing reviews.

Susan and her team did what we could not have accomplished by ourselves! The knowledge, speed, and accuracy - along with the obvious pleasure they take in doing their job - are just the beginning to why you need to consider TLS when moving. She has such a loyal following that the crowds line up before the doors ever open. And her record keeping is impeccable! Every item sold is catalogued and all records are given to you at the end of the sale. You will be able to move with less stress, less stuff, and a lifelong friend!

We are so absolutely disappointed in the work performed by Today’s Lifestyle Solutions. If it was possible to give negative stars we would. If you want to pay 35 dollars an hour per person for them to work as slow as snails, then hire Today’s Lifestyle Solutions. If you want to have the employees stretch their hourly pay as far as possible without actually getting any work done, then hire Today’s Lifestyle Solutions. If you want employees who shop for themselves more than work, then hire Today’s Lifestyle Solutions. Most importantly if you want valuable items stolen by employees, then hire Today’s Lifestyle Solutions. Unlike most estate sales we were in a unique position in order to monitor and work with the employees. During this time, we witnessed little to no work being done, lots of socializing, and most surprisingly theft. Unfortunately we could not be in two places at once and were unable to stop theft and maintain work ethic the entirety of the time. Our sale almost didn’t happen because they were days behind in work. My mother and I not only worked aside the employees in order to get as much done as possible, but we also completed pages of work by ourselves after they left. If we didn’t do the majority of the work on our own the sale would have never happened. Besides my mother and I doing our best to monitor and work at the same time there was very little supervision or oversight by the owner. On the days that she was here more work got done. However, due to the lack of work being done weeks prior this was not enough. As my mother and I still had to work ourselves up until the minute the doors opened. At the end of the day the sale wasn’t even worth it because after all was said and done we still owed money in wages! What saddens me the most however is not the money lost due to this company, but the items that were taken. My father passed away almost a year ago now and a tool set that he had bought me just disappeared out of thin air. I assure you this item was in the house prior to the sale. It is not the monetary value of this item that matters but whomever took this item took away an important gift that my father had given me. A gift attached to memories of us building bunk beds together. A gift that meant the world to me, and can never truly be replaced. If you are looking for a company to help you with your estate do not hire Today’s Lifestyle Solutions, as you may lose not only money but sentimental items that can never be replaced.

Susan and her team are wonderful. They helped us with an estate sale. The house was very full. The team organized everything and made the sale very successful. We sold almost everything. Susan and her team were also very supportive, friendly, kind and understanding to our concerns or needs. I highly recommend them to help you.

TLS made the clearing of our parent's home of 50 years less overwhelming. The team is very knowledgeable and kind. They understood the emotional aspect with giving us as family the respect needed. It meant a lot to us to be a part of the whole process and to be a part of the estate sale. To say they made this difficult time a bit more easy and fun!! Thank you!! You all are the Best in the Business!!

I attempted to attend an estate sale today with my family. We all had on face masks except my husband, who has a disability and a note from his doctor, which although not required to show anyone, he was willing to. According to the order in section iv. your employee violated my husband's rights by telling him he could not enter. Does your company treat all people with disabilities this way?
