Honestly, I can not say enough POSITIVE things about my experiences with Vector Electric!I have personally hired Vector on three separate occasions over the past decade and in every case have been 100% impressed! My first experience with Vector was back in 2013. At the time, I was selling a home in Fox Point. As part of village requirements, their home inspector had to do a walk through in order for the village to sign off on the sale. At the time, the inspector insisted that the full electrical panel had to be replaced. Timing was critical, as the village sign off had to happen in order for the sale of my home to go through and the sake was already in motion. The time frame was extremely tight. Vector quickly responded and completed the job, as quoted. It was a difficult job, due to a challenge relevant to the positioning of the box in relation to exterior wiring and a concrete patio, but they got it done. Everything was on budget and happened quickly, within the given timeframe. They truly saved the day! The village inspector signed off on the completed project & the home sale went through as planned. We next worked with Vector in 2020. Our guest room was being completely renovated and all of the wiring was being redone (room was down to the studs). This included the install of new lighting, outlets, etc. The job was quoted first and then completed. Vector provided us excellent advice relevant to strategic lighting fixture placements, design, & ways to improve the efficiencies of the overall project. The job was completed in an extremely timely manner, everything went according to the design plan, & our pricing quote was accurate. Our most recent experience was a few weeks ago. We had randomly lost power out in a section of our garage. Vector came out and quickly discovered the issue. Rodents had successfully made their way into our electrical box and built a huge nest in it over the winter. The job required full replacement & rewiring of the box. Our technician was able to complete the entire job same day, within hours. I was blown away by that! He explained that we could have been moments away from a fire, given the level of damage that had occurred (rodents chewing on the wires, etc) and it was a good thing we had contacted them. He also explained that whomever had worked on that box prior had not properly sealed things up, hence the rodents having the ability to get in. We were so appreciative of Vector’s quick response to our very serious problem.I am so thankful for Vector Electric! The have been in business for decades and it shows! You can trust their expertise and know that your project is in great hands! Their pricing is also extremely reasonable! THANK YOU Vector Electric!! I am so overdue in writing this post, as you have truly “saved the day” for me and my family more than once. Keep doing what you do… because you KNOW what you are doing and you get the job done RIGHT!~ Forever grateful.

We had a 240 plug installed for level two charging of an electric vehicle. Steve, the owner, spend a lot of time with me on the phone, explaining the procedure, and what my options were. Very knowledgeable and patient. His guys, Logan and Ryan, were prompt, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after themselves. They answered questions and were a pleasure to work with.Service: Electrical outlet & switch installation

Steve from Vector Electrical arrived when he said he would and provided an estimate to run a new 220V service into my garage for an EV charger. The estimate was VERY reasonable compared to the two other estimates that I received. Steve was eager to discuss other projects that I had been contemplating and his two electricians, Chris and Ryan, were in and out of the house multiple times. They were clean and professional and they worked quickly and effectively. I will definitely use Vector Electrical again.Services: Electrical panel replacement or upgrading

One year ago I hired Vector Electrical Contractors Inc. to start and complete the project of rewiring power back to the garage from the house as well as to replace a new electrical panel in the basement. The work is still incomplete the Gargage as a dual or double outlet switch which was not replaced as such but as a single switch that disables or keeps me from now turning my lights off and on I am force to leave switch on at all time ( not being able to turn off lights or on at my desire) also the new panel box was never label as it should be when a panel is replaced as well as a newly installed outlet indoors was left without a cover. I was told “that’s was how everything was before they repaired any wiring). The switch was disconnected temporarily due to the lightning which was reason for the repairs in the first place. Again, when ask I was told that’s how it was before they started. A single hook up and no word about the labeling of the installed panel box and cover for the newly installed outlet. I was informed they would return and to this day just about 1 year no response from lead worker who promised this would be completed. Can’t be trusted I hired and paid in good faith of the company and as soon as they received payment No More contact. Sounds small but they’re unreliable and untrustworthy as a company, Not the same family business as 20 years ago for sure Brian the owner and Tom the lead I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied with incompleteness of the work.

I wanted to use this company per the suggestion of other professionals in the trades. Unfortunately, my experience has left me not only frustrated and disgruntled, but untrustworthy of their ability to follow through on their work. I had Vector out to look at some of the electrical work I needed done (I believe this was still Sept of 01). I was looking for an estimate. A week passed, and I had nothing (understandable, the trades are busy). I waited approximately 4 weeks and called again. I spoke with the gentlemen who came out to my home, and he explained he was overwhelmed and backed up. I said I understood, and asked if I could receive a latest date, and was told Oct. 27th. October 27th came and went. I asked my husband to call (this was the week prior to Thanksgiving). Husband called and was told by office lady that the guy was out of the office today, but he would call us back tomorrow. He never did, and Thanksgiving came and passed. Husband called back a week later, and spoke to the guy who apologized and said we would have the estimate within 2 days. You guessed it, 2 days came and passed. Nothing. I called one more time, and spoke with the office lady, explaining my frustration. She asked if I wanted her to leave a note on his door, or call back tomorrow. At this time, I explained in more detail (exactly as I have above) my frustration. She responded to my frustration defensively, and stated there was nothing she could do about it except leave him a message on his door. She also stated that if my husband was in the trades, he would understand that this is what the trades is like right now. “Even the big boss guys are doing jobs now” My entire family is in the trades, with family being business owners. I understand that they all carry cell phones on their person, and can easily return calls. I understand that should Vector have overextended themselves, they had an opportunity to be honest and communicate that one of the first 1-3 times I called. I understand that calls left continually unreturned is unacceptable. I understand that given the circumstances in our business communication, if I cannot trust that they will return calls and follow through on their own self-determined deadlines, I’m not likely to trust them when it comes to actually following through on the actual job. (Also, as you may have guessed…even though I left yet another message, I did not receive a call back…or my estimate)I am usually immensely hesitant to write poor reviews, particularly for small businesses, but this was beyond unprofessional, and there needs to be some recompense for such poor customer treatment.

The timeline on my Renovation project got moved up -by a week! - and Vector worked with me and squeezed my job in on only a days notice and kept my project on track. What a great company to work with- customer service and professionalism - they have it nailed! Thank you Vector Electrical !

I recently had my electrical panel replaced. They delivered their quote in a timely matter and were able to provide service the next week. Very professional and friendly, and left the work area cleaner than when they started. I will use them again for any future needs!

Vector Electrical Contractors have completed extensive work on my home for the past 6 years. Projects have ranged from basic repairs to extensive wiring for complicated remodeling projects in my circa 1880 home. We are grateful to Vector for taking care of all of the electrical issues that have come up over the years in an efficient and timely fashion. They have been sensitive to the needs of my older home which we greatly appreciate.

Vector designed and installed the entire electrical system for my new house. The workmanship is first rate and when creativity was called for due to the complexity of the architecture they came up with excellent solutions. Whenever follow-up work is needed they respond quickly. I highly recommend.

Vector electrical has done extensive work in our 110 year old house. They are trustworthy and conscientious. They rewired a substantial portion of our home. We had an emergency at 10:00 at night in below zero weather. Vector was in our home in less than a half hour and returned power to our home. I would highly recommend Vector.

This was the company that wired the house I purchased for the prior owner so I wanted to have some things repaired that were broken. I have contacted this company no fewer than six times to come to my house for a somewhat substantial job that I agreed to their time and material rate for. It took three calls to set up the first scheduled appointment, but they did not have the right electricians available and said they would call back to set up a new date. I called at least three times subsequently with no response from the messages I left. After three months I hired a different contractor.
