Fair warning I was told blue 05 4runner with the 4.7 v8 listed for 13k had a certified safe frame. However when seeing for myself the underside of the main frame rails are very weak and brittle. Your fingers will go right through in some spots if you tap lightly.

Bought a car from this crap establishment in July 2022 for my son for $12K. Nine days later--the rear tire fell off. Dave Jensen told me how honest he was & that he would make it right. He ended up blaming my son for the tire even though it was proven the car had the incorrect lug nuts on each tire. He didn't do a damn thing. About a month later, spark plugs started going. Six months later the engine gasket was blown along with the transmission. Then the battery went. This car was a total loss. Dave Jensen is a lying, greedy little- little man. Look him & this place up outside of his Facebook & company website. I wish I would have dug deeper. Please be cautious. Better yet...just look elsewhere.

SCAM BE AWARE !!!!!!!! I bought an electric Car from this company. They never disclosed that the charger component did not work nor the port to the car. The vehicle at this point is useless without the charger. Car was returned less than 24 hours after purchase. company told me they would refund my money after return. Waukesha's Best car has now had my vehicle for over 6 days and I have yet to receive any money. I have contacted Madison dealership licensing and filed a complaint on WI DOT and BBB

Great people to deal with. They went beyond what I expected for our 2005 Toyota 4Runner. Exhaust had a slight tick from manifold (very common on Toyota's) they replaced both manifolds and catalytic converters. A real pain in the butt job by the way. They discovered after I agreed to purchase that CV boots were torn so they replaced both front axles. Also replaced the O2 sensor. The price I paid I would of expected as is not let me fix everything to make sure your Toyota rides great. Wish I could give more then 5 stars. Thanks again.

Good morning all, seeing some negative feedback here from customers and maybe potential customers, but looks to be on balance far more positive ones.We have not formally purchased a car or boat from Dave Jensen, yet as we are still debating our options. But, I wanted to take a moment to leave a review- as I have found Dave to be extremly straight forward, accomodating and extremely helpful to myself and my wife (who is extremely skeptical of folks in this line of work) as we make what for us is a big decision. While most sales folks tend to be pushy, he has been patient, answered our questions and even provided info on matters not directly related to the sale.Is he doing this for free - no, will he make a profit on the sale - yes likely. Nothing wrong with that- he is running a business afterall -I appreciate the time and effort he has put in.So, for what it is worth I have found my experience with Waukesha's Best Used Cars to be positive.Be well everyone -

We paid almost 12k for a car for our son last summer. Nine days after getting it a tire fell off while he was driving it. (Thankfully when he lost control he was on a city street and not the freeway!) Dave said over and over how honest he is and stated he was going to "make it right" but in the end he tried blaming the damages on our son's driving and offered $250. (It turns out every tire had improper lug nuts on them which is what caused this. Every tire.) 8 months later after continuous issues we've been told the transmission is shot, the head gasket is blown as well as other issues. It's a total loss to us. We were desperate to find a safe, used car for our son, and that desperation led us to Waukesha's Best Used Cars. HUGE mistake on our part. Safety is not a priority for them and professionalism and integrity are non existent. Steer clear of Waukesha Best Used Cars.UPDATE!!! The response to this post (possibly by Dave himself?) is absolutely laughable. He starts by claiming my child called HIM when this happened, stating he hit something in the road? Dave, he has no clue where we got this car. He would have no idea how to call you. Good Lord.... And he ends by saying out complaint comes over a year after purchase? The purchase was made last summer Dave. Grammar is OBVIOUSLY not your strong point, and I can only assume after reading your reply that math isn't either. You started your lengthy post with a lie, you ended with one, and pretty much everything between those two points is ridiculous. You are a dishonest man. You are a joke and an absolute slap in the face to the other honorable car dealerships out there. In the beginning I was mad at you, at this point I just feel sorry for you. It's obvious after reading other reviews that you are a very disliked man. You are known for your dishonest and disrespectful ways, and you seem to take pride in that somehow. We are being very public about our warning to people when it comes to even considering your business.

Worst dealership in Waukesha. Will backstab, lie, and go back on their word. Especially if you come naïve. Don't sign any of their one of 10 papers saying that you owe them 30% interest like I did.

BUYER BEWARE! I'm not sure I've ever worked with a more unprofessional and dishonest person. In July 2022 we paid about 12k for a vehicle for our son, assuming it would be safe. Nine days after owning it, a tire fell off while our son was driving it. (Thankfully he was driving city streets and not the freeway at the time.) Seven months later after having continuous issues with the car, we left it at the shop to be thoroughly checked over. The transmission is shot among numerous other things- it's a complete loss to us. When we contacted Dave after the tire fell off, he went on and on about how honest he was and how he was going to "make it right". In the end, he tried to blame the tire incident on our son's driving and offered $250. (The tires all had improper lug nuts on them which caused the tire to fall off. Every tire was an accident waiting to happen.) In a reply to a recent Google review that I left, Dave actually claimed that my son's first call after he lost the tire WAS TO HIM! lol He said our son said he hit something and begged him for help because he was afraid my husband would take the care away from him. lol! This is such a ridiculous claim. Our son has no clue WHERE the car even came from. Good Lord.... lol That claim was followed by lie after lie in an attempt to seem like he bent over backwards to make things right. I think Dave forgets that emails and texts speak for themselves. This business is a joke. The owner is as dishonest as they come. Safety is a non-issue to them. They WILL however take your money. LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKE AND AVOID WAUKESHAS BEST USED CARS AT ALL COSTS! And spread the word, folks.

Bought a 2004 4runner limited with very low miles. All the pictures looked good but I would be buying it unseen so Dave set up a third party inspection on it to set my mind at ease. Well the 3rd party inspection as I was told only showed a hose leak in the transmission. I was told that was fixed. I was also told they would take care of why the air pressure warning light was on. I had the timing belt done by the 3rd party inspection company and it appears that was done. Received the car and upon delivery, light was still on, piece of trim (this is a big piece covering the whole wheel well area) above driver side rear tire will not stay on properly, noise coming from serpentine belt, hood liner torn and hanging down on engine, still leaking transmission fluid as it was the metal parts of the line that were rusted and not a hose, a lot of rust which had been covered with some rust prohibitor (That could have been done prior to them buying at auction), emergency brake cable was rusted through and not working, couple of small exhaust leaks, mismatched tires both brand and tread life remaining, shipping price kept going up if actually wanted it in a timely manner and no 30 day temporary plates. Had my mechanic go through it and both differentials were so bad it was like mud coming out of them when he changed the fluid, all the plugs on the differential and transfer case were seized on and he had to replace the metal transmission lines. So in a nutshell I am not sure what their mechanics who I was told looked it over or the 3rd party inspection actually looked at on the vehicle? I have had to put $1500 into since I got it and still more things to fix. Some of them are cheap and some of them a bit more expensive. I have had good luck buying cars this way and this was my first bad experience. I understand, buyer beware and in this case I would not trust going through them this way again. Pay the money to have someone not associated or recommended by them to do a proper inspection.

Dave did an absolutely spectacular job. When truck sent for alignment as planned, worn tie-rod was discovered. Dave had BOTH replaced and held to agreed price. I would recomnend him to ANY person looking for a great car at a great price. Financing was quick and competitive. Bought a 2009 Nissan Titan from him and could not be happier. Nice work Dave.

Made a deposit to hold a vehicle while I applied for financing and now the owner refuses to pay it back despite the fact I have documentation showing that I paid it. I wouldn't trust this place. Guess you can add me to the long list of people who have been taken advantage of.
