Checked in at 10:45 for an 11am appointment with our dog. Promptly placed in a room & were told that a doctor would be in shortly. 45 minutes later, my wife went to the front desk to ask if we should come back at a better time. She was surprised that no one had been to the room. Said she would round up a doctor to see if she could meet with us. % minutes later a doctor came in & said she had an emergency that she was taking care of but apologized for the lack of communication to us. A tech then came in to take the dog for 2 shots. She came back & said we could pay before leaving the exam room. Produced a bill of $695 & change. Seems as though it was padded with a couple unnecessary things. After some discussion, the bill was reduced to $325-ish. Probably changing vets going forward.

Just wow. This place is amazing. ?I have a one year old Chinese Crested Miniature Dachshund who was having urinary issues. It was just crazy how fast things went downhill. My little guy had been peeing a little bit of blood for a day or two before we went to WVRC. We had an ultra sound done there, and that came back with flecks of crystals, but he was stable, and we took him home while I found a primary vet for him.We had another appointment a few days later with his now primary vet who did a urine test on a friday. By Monday night, he wasn't peeing at all and just couldn't get comfortable. Tuesday morning at 3 a.m., my dog came into my room crying and cuddling into my legs. I felt his abdomen because he kept showing me his belly, and his bladder was SO extremely tight. He was whimpering and miserable. I knew something was extremely wrong.I called WVRC in waukesha, and they said it would be a 2-3 hour wait and to call their sister clinic in grafton. So, I called grafton, who also said 2-3 hours. I opted to wait until 8 am. and call his primary, which turned out to be closed. I called WVRC again, and they gave me some suggestions on emergency vets. I called 2 places and was turned away, unfortunately.I then called Westown and told them what was going on, and they gave me a 9:15 am appointment immediately. We arrived early and they took us to a room. The tech talked with us and let us know what she was doing and why every step of the way. The doctor came in and started to check him over, but when she felt his bladder, he yelped in pain.Everything was like a whirlwind after that. They whisked him away for xrays that showed a big stone blocking his bladder off. They told me my options and gave me an estimate. I signed off on the surgery, and he went in to have it done. I did have to call for updates as I know they're busy, and I appreciate the work they're doing, so that didn't bother me.My dog was very near death, and I was scared out of my mind. I had a panic attack in the exam room, but everyone was very understanding and helpful. They wanted to monitor him as his surgery was very invasive, so I didn't get to take him home until 3 pm. Wednesday afternoon. They sent me home with meds, a blanket, a cone, two adorable jerseys, and lots of the prescription food he'll be on from now on.They worked with me on the bill and were just amazing. I can't say enough good things about this veterinarian office. For those who have posted bad reviews solely based on the prices, shame on you. These people do a very hard job and they're very good at it. If it wasn't for this clinic my dog may have died.Thank you Westown Vet.

Front desk personnel always friendly and vets are competent but prices are unbelievably high. Rx for Apoquel went up from $78 to $83 for a 30 day supply. Also on a previous visit paid $85 for a large bottle of medication , which I only needed a small amount of. I have spent almost $1,500 this calendar year on visits and medications - no surgeries or operations! We switched to you a year ago and I am disappointed in your pricing. We are retired and living on a fixed income.

After reading all these 1 star reviews. My feelings are validated. It really saddens me that a place can operate in such way. Money hungry veterinarians without compassion. Last time I bring my dog here. I will be looking for a veterinary clinic that actually cares about their clients and pet wellbeing and for someone who doesn’t try to exploits their customers.

My little horse (Great Dane) & I just relocated from L.A. This was the 1st vet we tried. These guys were great. (Annnd The vet tech is a Great Dane owner! Yeeeaaaaaye!??? BIG fist bump!!)Also, Im beyond elated that for the 1st time EVER my bill was under $1000! Actually under $500! Thats just unheard-of in Los Angeles & Ive seen almost 1/2 of the vets out there! Needless to say,(but I will!) These guys are totally reasonable! Would I recommend them? TOTALLY!

I hate to do write a bad review, but I am not happy with my experience here. Firstly, I called in yesterday and a woman answered the phone. She was having a hard time finding my name or my dog's name on file. She also seemed distracted even after I repeatedly told her my name and my dog's name. I am not sure why she was having such a hard time finding us. She then puts me on hold and then hangs up after 2 minutes. When I called the clinic back and told her "Hi, I was just talking to you. You hung up on me" she said, "hold on!" and handed the phone to someone else. Instead of saying I'm sorry or try to explain why she was having such a hard time. That should have been my first warning to go somewhere else. It was so unprofessional and unorganized. A guy then answers the phone, and he was finally able to schedule an appointment.Lastly, I am upset on the way the veterinarian quickly examined my dog. She seemed in such a rush. Which is upsetting considering the fact that I paid $80!!! just for the wellness examination. I shouldn't have felt rushed. It took her less than 2 minutes to examine my dog. She then flatly tells me my dog has murmur. I said what is that? she briefly explains the symptoms. Which wasn't enough because I still had questions, I went home and googled it. Tell me why I learned this is something that could be fatal to my dog. She failed to talk to me about the seriousness of murmur, and what it means for my dog. She also failed to tell me if there were any treatments. I am guessing her answers where short because she was in a rush. why are you in a rush? why aren't you able to give your client your full empathetic attention. Not once did she ask me what about what concerns I have for my dog. I had to speak up and point out my concerns before she left us in the dust. Also why are there medications so expensive I was charged $48 for eye ointments for my dog which values $13 online. This is ridiculous, what a rip off.I will rate this a 2 star, because the tech was nice. She cleaned my dogs' ears, but she was also running around in a rush, discharging another pet. I was able to get what I needed for my dog even though they charged me an arm and a leg for it.I have been coming to Westtown veterinary clinic for 10 years. Sadly, next time I will be looking for another veterinarian location. I no longer feel bad for writing this review because after writing it, it has made me realize how upsetting this whole experience has been.

I switched to Westown Vet a year after moving to Wisconsin. They’ve been fantastic with my dog. Our normal visits are great but they really excel at the unfortunate visits that we hate to happen. Yesterday I walked in thinking we were headed towards another procedure and they were able to make it a simple visit. The professionalism is top notch! The new location is gorgeous and spacious.
