The team members at the Waunakee Ace Hardware are always so helpful. They are able to easily direct me to the correct aisle for what I'm looking for upon entering the store, and often help me carry heavier items out to my truck. Thank you Ace team!

I stopped into Ace to pick up a bag of potting soil. Seeing how *very* pregnant I am, the clerk offered to carry the bag out to my car for me. It was very unexpected but appreciated! I’ll definitely be returning!

I’ve always had good luck here over the years. The staff is friendly and helpful and the store is well stocked. Today they helped me load a heavy snow blower into my truck in the rain.

Fine small hardware store (if pricey, which is what you trade for convenience) with increasingly bad staff. At this point I'm not convinced that they hire anyone older than 16, and the people they do hire are more interested in playing catch with merchandise at the front of the store than helping customers. I'm fine paying an upcharge to drive three minutes instead of 20, but after my last few trips, I'll be driving the distance to avoid this store.

Very helpful team of folks. The checkout is always very fast, they have 2 lanes. They have a large selection. Prices are a bit higher than the big box stores, but when you just need a couple of items, doesn't pay to drive 20 minutes to get a little lower price.
