This location once was a decent place to have storage for items such as boats, long trailers vehicles etc. The owners greed made the long storage bays impossible to use as you will not be able to have enough “drive way” in front of your unit to be able to park, load or unload anything which requires a vehicle of length or a vehicle and a trailer. Look someplace else I would rate this site as a functional F.

We had a fantastic experience with Secure Storage when we were moving back from living abroad. Larry made the whole process as simple as can be.Our unit never had any issues with rodents — I saw lots of pest control traps around, so I know the owners are actively preventing problems. We never had water problems either. Overall great experience!

Secure Storage has a mouse issue. Mice have no bladder so when you see mouse droppings you can be assured that the dribble of urine is "everywhere"! I was alerted that "someone left food in their unit", thus an influx of mice. No recourse and after many phone calls was told to contact my insurance company. They know full well that insurance does not cover rodent damage. They don't seem to be pro-active in critter control, choosing instead to blame other renters. Oh, and did I mention the scrubbing, throwing away and hiring a professional to clean area rugs and upholstered furniture? No points to this place unless you want mouse droppings over everything.

We needed a storage unit last minute during our move and Larry was SO helpful! He went out of his way to be available when the movers arrived and kept the premises clean and secure. Not to mention he is an incredibly pleasant human and absolute joy to work with. Would 10/10 recommend!

The Waunekee location is great. Easy to access storage and always prompt to answer questions vie email or by phone.

My son rented a unit from Secure Storage last year and another unit this year. Larry was amazing to work with to locate the right size unit and location. The current unit has access on both ends which works to get to the items stored. Great experience. I would definitely recommend Secure Storage.

Larry at Secure Storage was absolutely AMAZING!! After moving cross country and needing to store our belongings until we were able to close on our new home, Larry helped us every step of the way! He is so kind, helpful, friendly and went the extra mile with everything he did! He was the first face we were greeted with here in Waunakee. If everyone is even remotely as friendly and kind as him, we have found our forever home! Outstanding service, storage units and with Larry...I would use Secure Storage just because of him! He will take excellent care of you!! Thanks Larry!! We are so appreciative!

Such nice units and a great variety. The staff was so helpful when deciding between my options. I love that you can access unit availability, reservations, auto payments, and payment history all online. Its really easy, secure and convenient for someone working during the day.
