“It's overdue that I wrote a review for this business. I run a rather rare Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR with mods. I find it hard and overpriced to get any service from Mitsubishi dealers but David has the tech to read my codes and fix problems other places will just shake their heads at and say take it to the dealer.
He runs a very modern shop, go and see it for your self. From the sensor diagnostics when you first drive into the shop to the high tech laser alignment system offered or ability to diagnostically interface with most makes and models
David also offers value, a broken suspension on my car would have been a huge issue but Dave worked with me to not only repair my car but actually upgrade to a higher performance aftermarket suspension (I picked the parts) installed for considerably less than just the cost of original factory parts.”
“My car became undriveable while visiting Madison for the weekend. I dropped it off at Budd's Sunday morning, they did tests Monday afternoon, and had it fixed first thing Tuesday morning so I could drive it home for Thanksgiving. I know nothing about how much car repairs should cost but my dad says it was definitely fair, 10/10 recommend :)”
“Excellent service & price! I went in with symptoms that led to a ball joint replacement. They explained everything clearly and were very polite from beginning to end. Being a female, I get used to being talked down to at shops, but they were very respectful and talked to me as a normal person. Another shop tried to charge me over 4 times the amount for what they did. Now my car is working smoothly and my wallet doesn’t hurt as much! I will definitely be coming back here for my future car needs!”

“Noticed what I thought was a small leak in one of my tires while driving to northern Wisconsin from Illinois for a wedding. Gave them a call to see if they could do a patch job and they got me right in and estimated only a half hour wait time at 36 dollars to repair the leak. After evaluation they discovered that I had a small crack in my rim. Without a new rim they could not replace it, but they advised me on what I could do. They ended up not charging me anything for the diagnosis. Very friendly people, great pricing and an honest company. Would recommend anybody with car issues in the Madison area to go to Larrys.”
“Fantastic service! I purchased my tires through Tire Rack and had them delivered to Discount Tire. Tires arrived as promised and installation was scheduled the day after. Connor met me as soon as I entered the store and took care of the prep work. He was courteous, thorough, and communicated well throughout the installation. The installer, as well as the shop manager, reviewed the work done and outlined the post-installation services that were included. I highly recommend Discount Tire (Junction Road location) for anyone needing honest opinions and folks that seem genuinely care about the experience. They were also very meticulous and clean with the work performed.”

“I ran over a piece of sharp metal and my tire went flat, I was an hour from home with my 2 large dogs in the car, during an ice storm right before 5pm. My minivan did not come with a spare tire. AAA basically told me to have it towed somewhere and either find a ride home or get a hotel because of the weather. Pomps saved me stayed late and came checked my tire and repaired it where I was. I cannot recommend them enough. They were also very kind and understand when I was panicking. I am grateful because that kind of service is hard to find anymore.”

“One of the few places that can service a Smart ForTwo! Brought my car in after it overheated. Somehow, there weren't any issues after the toe - but, as part of the cooling inspection, they checked everything. Spent the better part of the day testing every component of the cooling system. A disreputable mechanic would have made something up to get money back for the time - not here. Honest and dependable service.”
“Austin did a great job in selling us our new 2026 Tundra. I think he paid my wife to upgrade to a higher trim package, but we couldn't be happier with our purchase. If your looking for a new Toyota stop at Smart Motors Toyota and ask for Austin, but leave your significant other at home ?”

If by chance they aren’t able to deliver that fast they are so great about contacting us right away on when we can expect them. They handle all our parts with care so that we don’t have any damages parts. Which can happen. They’re my most reliable part vendor. We are so grateful that even though they’re in Madison they still deliver to us in Brookfield. We appreciate the team at Smart Motors so much and look forward to continuing to business with them.”

“Straight forward approach with honesty in regards to extending the life of my car as long as I can. As someone who only drives a 2500-3000 miles a year, I only do one oil change annually. I came in with the intention of doing an oil change and addressing my concern with a rattle/squealing in the front end which turned out to be a bad water pump. After a simple explanation of what the end game could be if I didn't take care of it, my decision to replace was that much easier. My car sounds and runs good as now, I just have to take the advice and drive it just a little bit more. Dutch's is definitely my new shop, and especially since it's only a few miles from home.”

“We had a motorhome blow out two tires on the highway. Insurance Roadside assistance said they would take 3-4 hours to get a tow truck and it would still cost a lot of $$ to tow the RV. Called these guys and they were there in a hour with the correct tires, quickly changed them and we were on our way. The service cost was a lot less than the tow and worth every penny. Thank you!”

“Ordered tires & an alignment online. Turns out it was a discontinued tire, so the shop called me to a help arrange an alternative. Yesterday my Cooper Endeavor’s were installed & they even fixed a piece of plastic that was hanging from the front of my car for free. Aside from a couple small communication complaints & my appointment being moved, everything else was great. I also really appreciated that they checked my alignment & told me I didn’t need it, instead of just doing it anyways, which saved me $125+.
Update Jan 25’: Got my 1st free tire rotation done. In & out my very quick, great experience again”

“I had purchased 2 new tires in the front less than a year ago somewhere else. Now needed 2 new rear tires, every other place I called tried to tell me I HAD TO buy all 4 new tires. I may be a female but I ain't dumb...so I stopped into Roadway Tire....got 2 BRAND NEW tires installed, disposed of my old tires and got to pet and play with an adorable pup while I waited....maybe 35-40 mins. All done for ONLY $280! GREAT conversation with Gordy and Dave while I waited! Really nice mechanics! I have NOTHING negative to say! 5 STARS!”

“The tires were fairly cheap and they even checked my oil for me (which was basically empty, so they did an oil change)... But apparently when they were done my car "wouldn't start" then causing me to have to pay $600 to replace the fuel pump. I had no issues prior to coming in. It was supposed to be a 2 hour tire job and 7 and a 1/2 hours later, I finally got my car (albeit with an empty wallet).... Seemed a little bit sketchy, so be warned if the same thing happens to you.... If it was a genuine issue I am glad that they fixed it so quickly, but I was not expecting to pay that much today.”

“Went online and made an oil and filter change with ease - sans an incorrect vehicle being scheduled at first. The Village Mobil team performed that service, and found that the engine air filter needed replacing as well. So... they replaced the engine air filter, too. They also noted tire depth, and that replacement would definitely be needed by the Fall Season. They also noted some oil seepage from the valve cover gasket. I took that to the dealership for further investigation, and appreciated them pointing that out. Not leaking, but seepage - and cleaned up appropriately, and will need to monitor moving forward. Dealership noted that one of the clips on the air filter was misssing. Overall, the team at Village Mobil showed concern/care in keeping a vehicle running smoothly. And...They are paying attention to the details. I will be back, as they seem to be a solid team with knowledge in all aspects in keeping a vehicle running smoothly and safely. Tires are competitive here, too. Some piece of mind additions (think warranty, roadside assistance, etc.) as well. Expert assistance with regards to specific tire brands and makes were impressive.”
