Stopped in to get one greeting card. The line was 12 people deep, so I did what I normally do and go to the photo area and kindly ask if they can check me out.
Not this time!!! There was a young lady there, with dark hair (had not seen her before) checking out another young lady and another young man, they were laughing and carrying on. When i asked if she could kindly check me out, she said, "Are you picking up pictures?" I said, "No, but you guys have always been so kind and check people out here if the other line is super busy." She said nope, you'll have to go get in the other line. Seriously?
What has happened to the Waunakee Walgreens?? It's getting worse and worse! I'm taking my business elsewhere!! Sad day ?

Always a line. Doesn't matter what time you come to get your prescriptions, be prepared to wait 30 minutes in line.

Walgreens in Waunakee is the worst store in the world. The attitude of the staff including the pharmacists and technicians totally ignored the customer needs or wants. Most of the time the staff is snippy and very pushy about what and why are you here. All most every prescription is over priced and if you have a question about an OTC product they haven't even a clue. You better bring the popcorn because the wait to pick up much need prescriptions can be over an hour long even when you have call in to have your prescriptions ready to be picked up. Sometimes the staff can not even find your prescriptions that are supposed to be ready because they stacked up all over the place. I Stay away if all possible.

I’d recommend having another place fill your prescriptions. I placed mine three days ago, went to pick it up and wasn’t filled. I could either waste 20 minutes waiting there or waste 20 minutes driving back. It is completely unimaginable that it would take more than three days to fill a prescription. It’s like they only fill them after you go to pick it up…

I received immunizatoons today at the Waunakee Walgreens. Everyone was very professional and efficient. I overheard staff asking each other what they can do to help. They seemed like an excellent team. There were a couple customers who needed additional help. The staff were patient and kind with them.

It's terrible that this place isn't one of the worst Walgreens ever. But that just speaks for how terrible Walgreens has become. Staff is grumpy, store is dirty, and everyone knows the place has gone to hell.

The pharmacy staff has always been helpful and efficient. They are extremely busy, being one of only two pharmacies in Waunakee. The techs have been thorough and the pharmacists have answered questions no matter how busy they are.

They have a pharmacy technician.. He served the car which came after me and when I told him. He said I don’t know that you were before him then he apologized for the other person for waiting and I am the waiting one. Then he started to serve other people inside the pharmacy and I am waiting.

Inefficient (aka SLOW), scripts not filled on time at least half the time. If there’s a line when you go to pick up your meds, bring a book!

It has a quite small variety of items compared to other Walgreens, but that’s understandable because of the small size of Waunakee.

Pharmacy is atrocious. Picking up things that are “ready” seems to always take 20-30 minutes.
