Me and my best friend camped 7/21/24-7/25/24 - Campsite 21. This was our first vacation together, camping and setting up everything on our own. After checking in and being extremely welcomed and informed of all s'mores fun had to offer, one of the owners helped back in our vehicle and camper to our lot for us. We ordered a wagon of wood which they conveniently deliver and add on a tab until checkout. Got all settled in, and had amazing fires each day. The nights were quite and peaceful. The weather was cloudy these days, but that was fine, wasn't too hot. We cooked good meals and played card games. The pool was refreshing, clean, and relaxing. Bathrooms and showers were clean and free to use anytime. They have a nice playground near the pool along with a basketball court, volleyball court, cornhole and arcade game room. The office has a little store with some groceries, extra supplies, gifts etc. They have relaxing lounge chairs by the pool, a picinic area and a covered picinic area. Dogs are allowed at this campsite and do have dogi pots stations throughout the campsite. They have various types of campsites available ranging from tent only, electric/electric w pad, yurt, cabins, and seasonal. Everything worked, and was up to standard. The guest were kind. I will definitely be coming back and recommend if your looking for a more quiet, yet fun place to take your kids/friends. 😊
Nearby activities: There are many doggy parks in the area, I do recommend "Tails & Trails Off Leash Dog Park". They have 2 sections, one for small dogs and one for larger dogs with small pond.
Another recommendation for place to eat, which we were given from the owner is "Waupaca Woods Restaurant" We ate here for breakfast twice and had enormous portions and the food was fantastic.
Local public beach we checked out was "South Park Beach". They have a lot of accommodations like playground, bathrooms/bathhouse, grills, picinic areas, boat launch.
Safety: Felt safe with owners/staff mostly onsite during stay, otherwise we're just a text away if needed anything. Also, all guest are required to sign in at office with name and license plate number.
Walkability: Easy to walk to bathrooms/showers, pool/playground, other campsites, nature walks/down to the lake.
Noteworthy details: The owners were very kind and welcoming, being our first girls trip. They helped back in our vehicle to the campsite so we could hook up. Told us everything about the campsite and even places to check out in town. It made our stay relaxing and stress free.

Paid for a weekend for our tent site (11 person tent from walmart) and it was too large for their tent site pad (the section our bed went on laid over the wood frame). We didn't have enough room to park our 2 vehicles during our stay because of fellow campers and how they parked. We set up our tent, took it down and left. I was hopeful but unfortunately this campground wasn't it.

We are local and we stayed at this campground for the first time last weekend. We will definitely be back.
Showers were clean, pool was wonderful and the staff was top tier.
We had tent site #65 and although it was down a slight hill, the spot for your tent was perfectly flat and clean.
Very family friendly!

Places like this are very scarce. We have camped for over 25 years and the amenities and cleanliness are unmatched. Grounds were kept up nice, bathrooms were spotless no matter what time you were there. A great experience and we are already discussing a return visit.

We just got back from our first stay at this campground and it definitely will not be our last! The owners were very friendly and awesome to work with, and we loved our lakeside site and the fact that we could park our camper on a concrete pad! The bathrooms/shower house were really nice and very clean, they have a beautiful fenced in pool and a playground, separate game hut, and a really nice camp store! Some of the sites are a little close, but not to the point of really bothering us and it was nice getting to know our neighbors!

We loved this cozy campground and the very friendly owners and staff. The outdoor movie setup was great, and the pool and players were well used. Most of all, the other campers were all great.
