Great place if you're looking for clothing. Clothing in over 50% of the store. If you need specialized items for fishing, hunting, camping, or sports, they have only a minimal amount for what they say. Their store represents. The store is clean and easy to walk through. There is plenty of parking which is free to the public. There is also restaurants nearby for you to stop in and relax and talk about your shopping experience.Overall the star is worth stopping at if you are into any hobbies or sports.

Great selection of sports apparel as well as a huge selection of fan apparel and gear for the Badgers, Bucks, Packers, and Brewers. Friendly staff with great customer service in my experience.

They had a decent selection of kayaks and kayak related items. I wasn't able to find a sit in kayak that I could comfortably sit in. By the time I was ready to buy they had sold a lot of their stock.Friendly customer service, just wasn't able to find what I was looking for here.

If you are looking for anything Hockey related. Do NOT waste your time. There was one aisle with very low quality stuff. Can't even call it equipment.

Had 2 employees ask if I needed any help which was nice. When checking out, the lady was quite rude to me. Nothing but a spoiled brat that thinks she is too good to have to work.

Visiting from SD, stopped in with daughter to purchase gifts. The selection of sporty fashionsfor young teens is amazing, colorful, and very well made. We browsed other merchandise like shoes, caps, and hiking accessories. At one point we had to ask for assistance to find a specific item in a color we couldn't not find. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made it a point to look for and find the item which was very much appreciated. I would definitely come back to this store for gifts throughout the year.

I live 40 miles from the nearest Dicks Sporting. We do not have a local sporting goods outlet and I had heard a few good things about the customer service and pricing. I looked at the online site. I saw what was available for golf clubs and figured I was going to have to spend around $2,500. There are several combinations of clubs, grips, shafts, lengths. I have an old golf set I bought off the rack and I'm not sure what is the correct fit for me. I did not want to travel to the store and have to stand around waiting so I called and asked if there was a good day / time for me to drive over to have a new set of golf clubs fitted. The reply I got was "no one was available right now" and I should call back next Monday...... I said what? A week?"Yup, nobody here can do that right now.... but check again next Monday".I am Traveling to Minneapolis for the weekend, and I will be looking at all the major golf retailers.... including Dicks. I'm going to find out if it is just the Wausau location. The retailer with the best customer service will most likely be getting my business. After a while.... small customers do add up!!!

Was difficult to find help from store staff. It wasn't very busy either. After a couple tours around the perimeter of the store and finding no one, I finally ended up waiting in line to ask a checkout person to page someone who showed up from the back after close to 5 minutes.

I had to return an online purchase in the store and was surprised to see a well organized, fully stocked store! Very impressed with their selection and promotions! They carry most brands from Nike, North Face, Adidas along with their own line. I was happy to find a full wall featuring Hydroflask and Yeti drink ware. Granted it was a slow time, the employees were super helpful and attentive. My return was processed quickly and refunded back on my card within a day. In the age of online shopping, it's great to see a brick and mortar store that has what you are looking and you get to try it out before purchasing. I'll be back at the store soon!

This is a clothing boutique masquerading as a sporting goods store. I couldn't find any winter sports equipment, and it is almost December! No snowboards or skis.

I realize this is most likely a corporate thing but calling this a sporting goods store is a joke, since a HUGE part of sporting goods is hunting. I know corporate decided to get rid of the guns here (also a huge mistake) but they could at least carry archery supplies for bow hunting. We have literally no need for this store, we can get most of the stuff at Wal Mart including hunting stuff. If we need name brand athletic clothing we'll find it somewhere else.
