Waited well over an hour to return my equipment because the store was very understaffed and at no point during the 2 hours on the phone trying to cancel my internet (I was moving) did they mention I needed to make a reservation. Canceling my internet has genuinely been the worst customer experience of my life.

We live on a private road. We maintain it. When Spectrum ran lines to our road, they never asked us where we wanted the green hub thing on our property. We tried to communicate with the workers, but they said they were not the ones to talk to. They were of no help. I could not get through to anyone at Spectrum. Spectrum never talked to us about running their service on our road, which I think is strange.
All utilities run into our house on the East side, where you can't see from the road. They placed the hub on the West side. Our property is surrounded by 3 private roads. The technician who installed service to our house told us he did not have enough cable to run it to the East side of the house. So we now have an ugly box on our brick house where you can see it from the road.
The line runs through our garage and through a raw drilled hole that leads to.our office. No wall plate was used. The tech left us with this fiberoptic line coiled under our desk, through the desk top hole, and put the device on top of our computer tower. The other device was left sitting on a power strip. All of our other devices were visibly on a shelf. I wish he had asked us where we wanted them. Now The fiberoptic line cannot be run behind the shelf.
He never cleaned up his mess from drilling through our walls. He just complained about only being paid $45 per hook up and he had been at our house for too long. He did tell me to be careful of the fiberoptic line, because it is fragile and can break. Why on earth do they train them to install it this way if it is so fragile?
The technician never explained anything about any of the services he was supposed to connect, and we already paid for. Nothing at all. Before he left, I insisted he check to be sure the internet was connected and working properly to our desktop pc. It was not. He went outside a couple of times and got it working.
He was gone about 10 minutes when I tried to make a phone call to be sure it was working. I had forgotten to have him do that. Surprise, there was no dial tone at all. He also forgot to hook up the xumo streaming box for a tv. He did not even leave it for us to try and hook up ourselves.
What a horrible experience we have had. If we ever make it past the hook up phase of our service, I will update this review. We were really nice to the technician and even felt bad about his not getting paid hourly. We considered giving him money to compensate for his time, but tried to confirm what he said. The only information we found referred to hourly wages.
I have to wait for Thanksgiving Holiday and the weekend to pass until I can talk to someone... hopefully talk to someone, that is.
Just be more alert than we were when having services hooked up.

Daniel at the Rib. Mt. location was so helpful when returning outdated modem once new modem was hooked up.. Restructured my package to reflect lower price and my internet with be even faster!
Also representative who helped me over the phone connect the new equipment was very helpful and pleasant.

Shouldn't have to wait an hour to return equipment. They don't need to take up 15 minutes of time to get a modem back that they shipped the replacement to me.

Waited almost an hour and half just to pick up equipment. Only 2 staff members on a Saturday ? But have 6 service desks. Ridiculous

There was a 52 minute wait, so make sure you make an appointment. We had our home phone disconnected 3 years ago, 10/2022. Looking over the bill, I noticed the charge. I checked the day I called & cancelled, the line was dead. Thet have been charging for the line yet, $25 per month. They took off one month only. Talk about rip-off.

The service is fine. That's not the problem. I had such a hard time cancelling. They talked me into a phone I didn't want saying it was completely free, then when I cancelled the service two years later they said I owed $95 for the phone I never even wanted. They also don't probate the bill, so if you cancel right after you've paid the bill they keep the unused portion of the fees you've paid. I think this is sneaky and deplorable. In today's business climate, I only want to work with companies who I believe have my best interests in mind and aren't trying to screw me out of every possible dollar. They'll never get my business again and I'll happily tell anyone who cares to discuss it.

The staff are helpful; however, Spectrum mobile in Wausau uses US Cellular towers instead of Verizon. The service is quite terrible.

The rep that worked with me was great, but the user experience of this store is awful. There's a small tablet that you have to sign up at to even start talking to a rep, and you don't know this until they tell you because there's no sign. I feel like even their workers hate Spectrum so much they don't want you to start an account with them. I was browsing their phones for 20 minutes and nobody came up to me, so I went to BestBuy instead
