Hours: The Neighbors' Place is a homegrown community center providing a hand up to residents of Marathon County and the surrounding communities through food and basic needs. Their motto is 'people helping people'. They help those in need by providing food and basic necessities, educating and connecting clients with services, and treating people with dignity and respect. The environment is inviting and friendly. The new building is a lot more now; it is spacious, well-designed, clean, orderly, and well-organized. The staff and volunteers are wonderful, friendly, respectful, compassionate, patient, and helpful. They are gracious and take care of people, letting them in and helping them out. They can assist with food and diapers if you have kids. They offer guidance, connections, and advice. This place is a perfect network of support for food on the table and so much more. Certain other activities go on at their place, like the bowl feed, the badger box feed, cookie box, Thanksgiving fudge, and Christmas feeds. It is a blessing and a great place for assistance. Every community needs a place like this.
