Hillside Bakery is a great and amazing little bakery with excellent food, considered the best hands down. All items are made fresh, with the best tasting baked goods like peanut butter cookies, pecan pie bars, Cherrie pie, raspberry muffins, and donuts. There are too many choices to choose from. They also have some handmade crafts like pot holders. The staff are generally friendly, though one worker at the register is noted as rude while others are quiet and reserved. It is a cash only business, with no checks or credit cards accepted. The timing of their open hours can be inconsistent, but when open, it is worth the stop for the value and quality.

What a wonderful little bakery! The baked goods are so wonderful, with the variety is so large. The service is very good, polite and helpful.

We stopped here for bread and cookies. The bread is delicious and the cookies were soft. The cinnamon rolls are to die for!! Definitely worth the stop!
