Staff is always off putting. I returned an order last week in store and the person messed it up because they were so busy talking to someone else. Because of that I’m now dealing with customer service to have my refund processed.Avoid this location at all costs

Very unfriendly staff. Both team members were so busy talking nonsense that neither one wanted to check us out. We had ti walk up to them to ask if they could assist us. Very dirty and unorganized store. Store was bumping with loud rap music like it was a club!

Worst Abercrombie store I’ve ever been in! There can be 8+ people in line and still only 1 register will be open. Employees are slow and rude. Had to stand in line for over 20 minutes

I’ve been to this location 4 times since November & each time the accessible change room has been “closed” (it’s being used to store merchandise). It’s unacceptable to use the only accessible changing room to store merchandise for months at a time. The change rooms that are open do not accommodate wheelchair users & it is impossible to transfer from a chair to the bench with the space given. It’s 2023 - let’s start creating spaces that are designed for everyone, INCLUDING people with disabilities.On top of this, there are only 4 change rooms, making the waits take over 10 minutes to even get a room.

Love A&F clothing but I don’t love waiting for over 9 minutes past opening time and needing to call the store to actually get them to open the doors…. Retail 101: get your customer in the store!

I try to only shop online when purchasing from Abercrombie but occasionally do stop into this location. I spend so much money at Abercrombie and yet am always treated with the most awful customer service every time I go to this location. The employees ignore customers while joking around with each other. They are never helpful and they roll their eyes when asked questions. Most recently I tried to do a return and they sent me back and forth between the middle and back registers, each claiming they only take returns at the other register (each time I had to wait in a long line.) They never apologized for the inconvenience. They have no basic manners and I always leave frustrated with my experience.

When I finally got a member of the staff to open a dressing room for me, I was met with a dismissive, unpleasant attitude. (I was the only customer in the store at the time.) Another woman gave me a look like I was inconveniencing them. However, the manager (?) processed my order and he was very nice. I still cannot believe the rest of the shopping experience. I have to say, I feel reluctant to go back.While it's hard to find good help these days, I've gotten better service at the post office.

Abercrombie and Fitch is the worst store I have shopped at. I have never had so much trouble with receiving the right jeans in the right size. This is the first time I have shopped at Abercrombie and it has left a sour test in my mouth.

Stick to shopping online. The staff at this location are extremely rude and unhelpful. There was one guy in particular that was snarky and condescending with his comments, not only to guests but other coworkers as well. You are not allowed to touch the jeans unless a coworkers grabs them for you, and asking for a dressing room is apparently a huge inconvenience.

I drove an hour and a half from Madison to return an online order and try on different sizes in store. Sizing was extremely inconsistent in the jeans and pants. The workers ignored me and my friend even after waving and asking them for help. The manager was the rudest employee I have ever encountered. It seemed like it was a burden to him that he had to call customer service for my return. He gave us inappropriate and unprofessional comments during our return. At one point I told him to cancel this return and that I would pay the return cost and return it myself. I will never be returning to this Abercrombie and will gladly pay the cost to return it in the future.

Alright so I feel like a traitor for ever spending money at Abercrombie but have to admit, I just love their jeans. Once or twice a year, I'll make the somewhat dreaded visit to this Mayfair Mall location to grab a new pair or two. Yes I pay an astronomical price, but to be fair they are super quality, durable, fit very well, and last a long time. They also have all of the styles you could want that are in-season. Honestly, five stars for the jeans.The experience and customer service however... ooof. Not good. I stopped into this location on a recent Saturday, and let me tell ya, not a single employee wanted to be there. The line to get into a dressing room was fairly long, and each time the manager needed to stop by to unlock a new door, he was huffin' his way past. The staff member I asked to help me find a different size was less than enthused, not even offering eye contact. And lastly, the check-out situation. With only one person in front of me in line, it took me 20+ minutes to purchase my one item. Just an overall bummer experience. I keep telling myself "Jessica, just buy the jeans online." Next time for sure!
