I LOVE Outpost and am SO happy they have four stores in the Milwaukee area. I would like them to try a bit harder, though. I've been to the Viroqua Food Co+op and Willy Street Co+op a few dozen times. At these cooperatives, I am more impressed by their customer service, product prices, atmosphere, bulk department, local product selection, and commitment to cooperative principles. Still, Outpost is a top place to shop and an absolute asset to those of us living in SE WI.

I love coming here for spices and their baked goods! Tons of unique foods, spices, nuts, rice you name it. They also have juices and smoothies you can order up front when you walk in.

I go here just about everyday between Tosa and E. Capitol. I am in town on Business, and back home I am an avid WFM shopper. However here in Milwaukee the WFM stores are not up to par. I was excited when I found outpost. However, I must say the Nashville Chicken sandwiches seem to be left out too long. The bread is hard, and the chicken is dry.My preference is the Tosa location, as there is just a larger selection, and the Cafe is open, as opposed to E. Captial where the Cafe has been closed before 5pm or in the middle of the day.

Such a breath of fresh air! We were traveling and in desperate need of some fresh, organic food. What a pleasure to find this store. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. The store is big enough to have everything one needs, but small enough to feel inviting and convenient. Even the parking lot was awesome with wild flowers and a picnic area!

I went in there looking for old potatoes ?? last stock, not technically old. Wanted to be able to grow some in the garden. I got some excellent help from a young lady that went and got the information necessary from the manager of that department. So I now have my potatoes all set and in a week they go in the ground. Thanks for the good service.

The deli of fresh salads and soups is excellent. I highly recommend the rock river tuna salad. It has sunflower seeds in it for crunch! This store is always clean, friendly, and very shoppable.

Coffee bar inside is great place to find juices, smoothies, and sandwiches made to order. Vegan-friendly.

This was my first outpost years ago and just revisited with some friends. It's still a great place! The juice bar is fantastic. Can't beat the fresh produce. Friendly staff, check it out for yourself.

We ? this place! We're vegan & found some GREAT items (rainbow hummus sandwich, vegan mac & cheese, and vegan lasagna). ALL OF WHICH TASTE AMAZING! WE VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND SHOPPING HERE (especially if your vegan or vegetarian).

Too expensive for my limited income. I was disappointed this store wouldn't accept my food stamp card, I had to leave without purchasing the healthy foods I wanted to buy.
