The app or website needs a status report on the drive thru remote teller. There’s nothing more frustrating than going out of my way to hit the drive thru and getting there to find out it’s not working. Success rate has been about 80% over the past few months. Have had the option of going inside once, but the best part of the remote teller is the extended hours. When it’s down and the physical bank is closed you’re just out of luck.

The past week I have been doing some research into some of the credit unions in my area and trying to figure out which one would be the best fit for me and my needs, especially since I plan on buying a home soon and wanted a credit union that had great first-time home buyer loans/perks and ultimately chose Summit Credit Union.I arrived at this location 28 minutes prior to their closing as I did not think to look at their weekend hours. Not only did I arrive so close to their closing, but I also arrived without an appointment to which I apologize for both. When I arrived, Frank did NOT hesitate at all to assist me with opening a new account with them, even after I told him twice it was okay and that I could come back. Frank did not rush me; he explained the differences between the checking and savings accounts they provide and took his time making sure all my information was correct. Unfortunately, I was unable to leave with my new debit card as the machine was down, but Frank attempted three times to get it up and going which, I cannot appreciate enough.Not only does Frank do his job well, and truly cares, but he is also very personable and great to talk to. He knows how to keep the conversation going, and to make sure you’re comfortable. I enjoyed every second working with him to get my new accounts set up and I sure hope Summit Credit Union knows what a GEM they have on their team.Fast forward to today – I had to run in to pick up my new debit card and I was greeted by two people with big welcoming smiles and offered coffee and tea while I waited for Frank and made a quick deposit. The gentleman to which I do not know his name, but I wish I had asked as he too was very friendly and personable. We joked a little about a subject we were on and laughed, which just really says a lot. Same goes for the lady at the front desk, as we waited for my card to print, she asked how my day was and hoped I was enjoying this beautiful weather we are having. I am in complete “Aww” and just SO beyond amazed on how great this location is and the staff that fill it. I banked with my previous bank (Landmark Credit Union) for 11 years and never once felt so comfortable and welcome as I do here.I work in human resources, and I aim to staff our front offices throughout WI, MI, and OH with great customer services representatives and in my next meeting with them I am going to mention my interactions with these amazing humans and remind them just how IMPORTANT they are to our organization and that first impression is EVERYTHING.I look forward to MANY years banking with Summit Credit Union, and to one day soon apply for a first-time homeowner's loan with that team by my side.

I've been waiting at your location for 30 minutes trying to deposit one check in your automated teller system. Meanwhile, 3 in-person employees are standing around doing nothing. This is unreal.

Says the drive thru window is open and yet there’s nobody and 2 people sitting inside at the desks. For anything complex like multiple deposits o transactions, get ready to wait for the automated remote teller to answer and give you customer service.

I've been a member for almost 30 years. So glad to have a location even closer to my home. My first option for a car loan, mortgage, and savings. Whenever I have a had a problem (like an overdraft or mobile check deposit) they have gone above and beyond to resolve. Wife and I keep separate accounts, but it's easy to transfer money between different member accounts. Welcome to the neighborhood.
