Long-time customer of this bank and this location. Wauwatosa/Mayfair is the worst bank branch in existence. The staff is rude, incompetent, sloooooow, and the place is always short staffed, often with no bank management on site. These issues have gone on for years. Read through most reviews and you’ll see USBank replies advise to use automated or online banking instead of trying to use this location. If that’s the best solution this company has, then why not just close this branch? For a totally opposite and wonderful banking experience with USBank, go to the branch about a mile away in Elm Grove. Wonder why that location is so fantastic while the Mayfair branch in Wauwatosa is horrific. Must be something in the water over there, or maybe it’s because Elm Grove is the wealthiest city in Wisconsin and USBank cares enough to keep those people happy. Whatever is going on, the bank’s reputation is taking a serious hit with what happens at Mayfair and yet they’ve made it clear that they’re fine with that.

Hands down really one of the worst bank branches I think that has ever existed.Wait times are absolutely horrendous, most of the tellers are straight up rude, and they will purposely draw out transactions so they don't have to deal with longer/more intensive transactions.If I could avoid doing business at this branch I would, and I would encourage anyone and everyone that has a CHOICE about where they bank, to not choose this location.Don't worry, the workers inside would much rather not deal with people anyways, they won't care.

For the last three days (12/21-12/23) the branch has had a hand written sign saying We are closed!! Three straight daysNo answering phones. No answering emails. Just closed. Ridiculous

I'd like to give negative stars. The woman at the counter was so insanely rude. I've never experienced someone so terrible at her job in my life. She should be fired immediately. Just terrible service. You should be embarrassed.

Yikes, usually pretty fast and friendly but walked out twice now after standing 5+minutes without moving in line, Havent seen Kadesha neither, went to a different location.

Having been a customer of this bank for decades, I am qualified to assess this particular branch as the worst I have encountered. The poorly trained staff is inefficient, unprofessional, and rude. Unless just using the ATM, go to the Elm Grove branch on Watertown Plank.

By far the worst service of any US Bank I have ever been to. They do not even acknowledge you when you enter. They are always understaffed. And they do not prioritize quick transactions vs more complex transactions.

My teller Kadija Dennist is the most friendliest respectful person and I never had a problem with any of the tellers !!! They always in a happy mood and make my day !! Just wanted to thank you and let the whole world know what a great job you are doing and they better recognize what valuable people they have working for us bank Boom ..keep up the great work

The black female bank teller that was working in the drive thru today was yelling at me like I am her child. She was very very rude when I was polite. I will not be waking in the bank or going thru the drive thru ever again unless I have no other choice. And if that’s the case then I will gladly drive anywhere else regardless of the distance just so I can avoid this unbelievably rude employee, for her sake not mine.

Highly disappointed. Had to jump through hoops to open our accounts, and then US Bank and the local branch do not communicate with each other.Was told today that US Bank reached out to confirm ID and address confirmation even tho we did that in person, but since we didn’t reply they locked our accounts. The problem is neither I nor my husband had any missed calls or voicemails from US Bank. Unbeknownst to us, US Bank froze our accounts pending that information. While our accounts were frozen US Bank was still sending us our debit/credit cards/other mail even though they froze our accounts because they wanted us to reconfirm our address? Our mobile ap was also still working and didn’t give any indication that our accounts were frozen.The company I work for tried to direct deposit my paycheck, whereupon they were told that my account was frozen. When I first called the bank I was told that my company didn’t try to deposits anything, only to later do some digging and find the info above. I now will have to wait another two weeks to get my paycheck as the funds are tied up due to all this.This is entirely unacceptable. We were not informed that our accounts were frozen. We did not have any voicemails from US Bank. And corporate and the local branch are clearly not in communication with each other.The people I spoke with were all extremely kind, but that doesn’t outweigh all the negatives.
