I have been dealing with dentist office after dentist office for the past 6 years, + several months. Bad experience with one important part or another that lead to me to look for yet ANOTHER office. I really finally feel I found the right one, very friendly welcome front desk staff, the hygienists (I seen 2) were both fun, friendly, conversational. And the Dentist was very genuine, friendly informative. Offered tips for my procedure I've not gotten from any others before. Most hardly even talked at all before. And the checkout/finance staff are just as friendly and caring, not one eye roll or huff over questions I had that I'm sure most people already know answers to (but I've had my so great previous experiences so I felt like this was my first time since I actually learned so much. Which lead to my annoying myself with so many questions but since everyone there was willing to answer I was getting it while I could. Really great staff all around, I'm glad I found them. The office is clean, ample parking. They're very up to date, check in is on an iPad.Already recommended 2 different people there that have already made appts as well and I was just there this morning.Lastly, I'm generally pretty afraid of the dentist, the whole experience, this appt i never even thought of bringing that up, wasn't given anything to "ease the anxiety" just because of how at ease, open and caring everyone was.

I can’t even give one starI went to Aspen dental because I needed a molar caped and my teeth cleaned I also payed in advance to have a front tooth implant installedI scheduled to have the surgery done on Saturday so wife had taken off work (at time and a half) to drive me in. I showed up on time for my appointment and the place was closed.After multiple calls I was finally able to get a hold of someone to ask.why the office was closed the answer I got was that I’m not on the schedule and they lost all my information because of a computer crashSo I had to take a vacation day to have the surgery done.After all the healing was done I went in for the first fitting.The tooth color was so far off that it was almost brown.The tooth was sent back after a lengthy conversation about the colorThe second fitting was still not the correct color it was tinted orangeI had the dentist install it until he could get the color correctThe third fitting didn’t go any better the steam of the implant was missingSo I was told that they would call me to make an appointment when the repaired implant would come in they never contacted me I tried to call I went straight to voicemail. I had to drive in to make an appointment I made an appointment for November 22 1:30pm because I would be off of work that dayOn the 20th I got a reminder email for an appointment on the November 29 1:30 pm. no one contacted me to tell me they changed it and when I contacted them they denied that they changed it. I made an appointment for November 30 3:00 pmI show up for my appointment an again the tooth was the wrong color it’s too light I was told I can whiten my other teeth to match this is unacceptableAt this time I will have to put up with the mismatch front tooth until I can afford to have it replaced by competent dentistI’ve been patient in waiting for this situation to improve for almost a year but I feel that at times all your organization cares about is the moneyI know that you’re sorry for my inconvenience but that isn’t going to make me feel any better and change the way I feel about how I was treated.

Dr Bicknell is the most kindhearted and amazing Dentist I've ever met. His level of integrity only matched by the loveliness of the staff in his office. Never to big to get his hands dirty (he did my cleaning himself), his stark coupling of friendliness and expertise is that which professionals in all fields should aspire to emulate.

DO NOT TRUST this Aspen dental or any other. The minute they take you into their little room to discuss your ‘dental plan’ run for the door. DO NOT PAY A THING until you compare pricing! They are way overpriced when compared to other dentists. And they recommend services that are not needed. My son who has never even had a cavity filled before he went in due to pain. He had 2 cavities. After discussing his much needed ‘dental plan’ he was told he needed root planing and 2 cavities filled. He was charged $2,000.00 for his complete plan, but left that appointment with just an upper root planing with addition appointments to come (included in their plan).Due to the nature of how he felt about paying that and still leaving in pain he decided not to continue with them. He subsequently saw 2 other dentists who both said he did NOT need a root planing (especially at his age). They both said that Aspen is like the ‘Walmart’ of dentists and that they scare people into thinking they need services they don’t!I called Aspen and they said he had $700 due back to him and would call me by the end of the day. They never did. I called a week later and no one answered so I left a message. No return call. I called again today and now was told they don’t owe anything and that he used his ‘complete’ plan. So he paid $2,000.00 and never had the 2 cavities filled that he originally went there for. When I looked up Aspen as a whole they’ve had several lawsuits for their ‘business practices’ and had to pay back millions! BUYER BEWARE.

I called the location in a different city and I was directed to the call center. The call center told me that there was only one opening for an urgent issue needing to be taken care of in another town about 20 min further which is fine. I asked if they take state insurance and if they take children as patients and the lady said yes they do. So after I drove there (about an hour drive and yes it's my fault for living further away from civilization so my drive us always long for things like this) I was told that they couldn't see him that day and said they tried to call me the day before but I got no call from anyone. So after of a little bit of a conversation she was able to see him that day around the same scheduled time. So after filling out the paperwork I was told that they don't take state insurance so that was even more upsetting news so I said okay its alright I'll foot the bill myself just to make sure my kid spent have any more pain. My child gets called back and we see they hygienist and she does his cleaning and says that the DR would be in shortly to take care of his tooth issue. When the Dr came in he sat down and said they couldn't do anything to help him because they don't have a pediatric dentist at that location..... so I just paid for a cleaning and had to frantically look for another dentist that could see him so his pain would go away. So all around if you get the call center just hang up and try the office again so you get factual information from the place you intend on going to.

I haven't been to the dentist in many years (my reasons don't matter to this review), so I was somewhat apprehensive about my first appointment at Aspen Dental in West Allis. Well it turns out there was nothing to fear.From booking my appointment, to filling new patient paperwork, the x-rays, the consult, and billing, every person I dealt with was friendly, professional and gentle.The clinic is clean and attractively decorated. Every step is explained before and during. And your treatment options are very clearly explained.You cannot go wrong booking here.

Canceled my appointment without telling me. I showed up and waited in line just to be told the appointment was canceled. The did not offer any solutions.

Had an appointment. They said uit wasn't scheduled right, waited 1 hour, they took me back, waited in the room, had a quick conversation, send to payment, they didn't have any of my information up to date. Wasted 2 hours here. Switching dentist brand, ridiculous.

This place is really amazing I lost my dentures and needed a replacement fast and this place made me a full set in under 2 days while every other place was weeks out. Plus they were almost half priced. And they fit 10 times better than my old ones

I had a bad fall and chipped a tooth in half. They got me in an hour or so after the fall and I got a new tooth within 90 minutes. They did that for me right before I had to leave for a trip. I was so thankful. The price was extremely reasonable, and I couldn’t have been happier with the results. It looks just like my old tooth. I could cry tears of joy because I was so scared I would have to go without half of a tooth for days.

Overall, poor experience. Hygienists were friendly but inexperienced and they don’t have enough staff to meet patient needs.The hygienists did not know how to put the buttons on my teeth for clear braces. One button fell off three weeks ago and I have not been able to get in for an appointment. My treatment is now delayed. I had a cleaning scheduled for months and it was canceled 4 days prior. I only found out because I called to see if they could re-attach the button during the scheduled cleaning. Not only could I not make an appointment, but my existing appointments were canceled due to low staff.

After a terrible experience at a different Aspen Dental location, I called the West Allis location to see if they could transfer me over and give a second opinion. Not only is the location lovely and well maintained, the staff have all been very pleasant. The hygienist and dentist particularly were so non-judgmental, they made sure I was comfortable. The doctor made sure to come around when discussing important items, made eye contact, listen to my concerns, and treated me like a human instead of a number. Aspen Dental is helping me get my smile back and I couldn't be more grateful!

I have waited months for my initial cleaning and I showed up today at 1 pm like they said in my reminder email that was sent me this morning. The place was closed! Once again, I wasted my time. I am moving....so I really needed to take care of this today. I cannot believe this is how they treat their new patients. I am not interested in continuing with Aspen Dental in the future.Very disappointedTami C.

I scheduled an appointment months in advance for a cleaning and after receiving numerous confirmation texts throughout the week that I had a cleaning scheduled for July 22nd I arrived and there was nobody on site at all and I'm given no option to reschedule.
