“I was traveling from Illinois to Grafton WI to visit my Aunt when I had a slip mishap on Hwy 43. I rang the door bell to the church and I was greeted by a very pleasant person. I asked if she had a maintenance person who had any tools I could use. She proceeds to get her tools and she actually did the work on my car so that I could get back on the road. She is living the Christian value of helping your fellow neighbor. I can't thank her enough. It makes me feel good that there are people in the world that go up and beyond to help anyone in need. “We have been searching for a church for a long time. Of course the number 1 priority is teaching doctrine as taught in scripture. We also wanted to find a church that is friendly and welcoming. (We just tried a closer church that we attended 3 times and went as a family to their church picnic, we were almost completely ignored.) So, even though Harvest church is a bit over 30 minutes away, we thought we'd give it a try. We were blown away by the friendliness of this church. We have now attended 4 Sundays in a row and my wife has been invited to their women's bible study. Every Sunday has been the same. My wife and I have been married over 50 years and I don't think we've ever been in a friendlier church. We look forward to getting involved and serving Jesus through this church.”

“I haven't been to a church in a while. Just went today for the funeral of our next door neighbor when we lived in West Allis. My major complaint about most churches has always been that the pastor never really seems to care about the parishioners. During the sermon you could see that this pastor was personally involved in her life and was effected by her passing.”
