“Layton fruit market is one of the gems of the southside of Milwaukee. Located near the end of the 794 spur on Layton the shop carries fresh produce and lots of great snacks. I noticed that they were carrying Candy Raisins, which is a regional candy that lots of people in southeastern Wisconsin really enjoy. The staff there are nice and friendly they always enjoy stopping in.”
“This ALDI is by far my favorite in the Milwaukee area! The cashiers are so quick and friendly, I never leave the checkout lane without a smile. They always have the plant based items I am looking for and the prices are the best around.”

“The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable of his products. He takes great pride in the work it takes for their quality, FDA approved products. I tried many samples while I was there of both the dehydrated and the tender cuts, and it made choosing only a few bags very hard. Everything was delicious and I can’t wait to go back for more, which will be sooner rather than later, because my wife is mad I didn’t bring back a bag of the Bloody Mary beef jerky.”

“Store was clean and organized. The cashier wasn't the friendliest and charged us for the guy behind us bag of candy because he wasn't paying attention! But I'll definitely be back to shop again!”
“May 18th we went in to buy meat for the grill and our cashier was phenomenal. She was so happy and conversed with each of us customers. Her genuine and pleasant personality made the stop such an enjoyable experience.The beef ribs and cilantro lime chicken breast were absolutely delicious.”

“I hadn't been to Aldi in years,but on my way to Walmart, I saw an Aldi and decided to visit. WOW! I was pleasantly impressed with the products and the prices?? I couldn't believe how the new Aldi improved from the old I used to frequent. I loved everything about it. Their Bakery products were especially great. I found everything and more than I would have at walmart. I found every item on my grocery list except for two things. I was also surprised at the checkout. I could not believe how much money I saved shopping there, rather than walmart. I saved at least $70 compared to shopping at Walmart. How can I not be excited?! I bought some banana nut bread and some croissants and both were absolutely the freshest and best tasting I've had in a long time. If you want to save money on groceries this is the place to go. Try it at least once and compare it to your receipt from your last trip to your grocery store. I can definitely promise you that you will save a minimum of $20 if not more depending on how much you buy. Go ahead try it out! Prove me wrong. I bet you can't.??”

“Good place , I'd give 5 stars but it's a very tight spot to back in , especially if there's cars .. very friendly employees, small lot you can park on overnight... all in all it's a good place to deliver to..*** if you have trouble backing in tight places and under pressure of obstacles , you will not like this place, not for the inexperienced ***”

“They do unload quick and will have the gate open at about 345 am. Usually unload about 430am
Be careful getting into their docks. Don't try to make a right into their alley - a semi truck cannot make the turn. There are usually cars parked on the other side of the road overnight so it's not possible to make that right turn. Alley into the dock are is narrow.
I strongly suggest you go north about a block and make a U-Turn in the Bentley World Package lot. Then come back down N Port Washington Rd and make the left into the alley to access the docks.
Milwaukee has had the two exits north of 190 closed overnight for road work.”
