Love this park to bits! We recently ran the Lucky dog 5k during a snow and this park setting was a dream. Set in west allis, Wisconsin, this park is home to a ton of migratory birds.Highly recommend this park for your morning runs, a peaceful trail walk or for birdwatching.

The bathroom is usually open for restroom access. Super creepy inside (looks like horror movie).

Not one of the finer Milwaukee courses. It is not bad for a county course, even then, others are better (Whitnall, Brown Deer). The greens can be sometimes interesting due to pin placement. And the course is in really good shape this year! But if you are a golfer, and you are golfing at a county course, you have tempered expectations about the course and sometimes its conditions. So why not a 4 star? There is one particular thing that this course in particular has that I would consider a 'fatal flaw': pace of play due to league mismanagement.Specifically, the super bad occurs on particular week nights, the county 'officials' that manage the leagues literally stack up 24-36 golfers in a 2 hour span. So a normal 1:45 minute round takes an interminable 3 flipping hours. No golf course (let alone this one) should have a pace of play like this for NINE HOLES!Don't ask about the dreaded 6-somes that occur when you've grown weary of waiting 15 min to tee off per hole. You'll surely find out first hand the consequences should you attempt this super frowned upon naughty behaviour. Those 6-somer hooligans should be flogged. ;)Consider yourself well informed. You're most welcome.

Great family spot with 2 different play areas. Also gorgeous and long trails within the park, using the trees as perfect canopy

We held a family picnic using the pavilion and the adjacent picnic area late in September. We loved the space finding it perfect for our group ranging from 3 months to 83 years. The perfect weather certainly enhanced the day but the convenience of the setting was ideal for an event held while covid was so active. Most chose to eat indoors but picnic tables provided an outdoor option fo those reluctant to spend time inside.

It is a very nice park but lots of little bits of trash were flying all around the grounds. Seems like the patrons and the park personnel would take better care of such a beautiful place.
