Do not expect this location to be like every other Menards location, primarily due to its size. The staff are wonderful and knowledgeable, the selection is not. Treat it more like an Ace or another small, local shop and you will not be repeatedly frustrated at this location’s lack of inventory.

10/19/25. Purchased one 2×6×6 board to finish one small project from David s. from the lumber counter. Went to the lumber yard to only find 4 2×6×6 on the shelf all with severe damage or knots. Asked the yard worker if there were more laying around. She replied, I had to purchase a 2×6×8 and cut it down. Called the lumber help desk while I was sitting in the lumber yard to speak back with David but was told he left. Asked to speak to a manager and was told he's on break. Asked to be transferred to the front help desk and explained what I was told and if this is true. That I had to drive back to the front, walk back to the lumber counter and purchase a 2×6×8, walk to the front counter, return the 2×6×6 that I already purchased and then go back to the yard and find an 8' that I paid more for and will have to cut down? She said let me transfer you to the manager, I explained that the lumber counter said hes on break. She said no he's not. Talked with the manger and he said pick out a 12' and they will cut it down. Went back and asked the yard worker where the 12' were. I started searching through and found one to be cut. I mentioned to the yard worker this one will work and she responed, we have a saw on isle 8. I probably jumped to conclusion assuming she's meant I had to cut it down but based on previous interaction with her telling me I had to cut down the 8'. I'm not sure what she meant. Having her point to the unknown and say we have a saw on isle 8 I assumed meant either me having to cut it or me trying to figure out where to carry this board to be cut. Not knowing where isle 8 is and already being told I had to purchase a longer board to cut down myself I put it back went and got a refund for everything. Not worth the run around for one board. This is not the first time lack of customer service has been an issue. I've always liked the idea of supporting a Wisconsin owned business but the run around I get everytime is not worth my business. I figured a quick stop to purchase one board to repair a step would be in and out. I'll drive a little further from now on, this store needs to get it together.

Came in around 6pm to only 1 line open. While waiting in line, cashier Marie, sat at talked with a friend as the rest of us waited. She was then upset that I didnt empty the cart on to the counter because I couldn't reach everything without going around. As I pulled everything out as quickly as I could. She got upset because I knocked stuff over. She stopped and told me excuse me with an attitude. I told her im sorry I knocked it over. Im just try to get everything out of the cart. She then tossed my bags on to the counter having stuff fall out that I had to repack. Seriously if you're that unhappy dont work here. Im going out of my way to never come back to this store.

Matthew is oddly aggressive. He always follows me around the store he’s been doing it for years. Today I went in there and he popped up right next to me in three different parts of the store. A couple years ago he chased me down in the parking lot requesting to see my receipt. You should tell him to take it down a notch. Contractors spend thousands or 10’s of thousands of dollars a year at Menards only to be harassed.

DO NOT RENT A RUG DOCTOR FROM HERE!! I did a 2 day rental and should've brought it back right away but I had a 16 hour work day yesterday and couldn't. When I went to use the machine it was so bad and smelled horrible!! I took it back today when they said and Jane made us pay the cleaning fee. Talk about a trap...Menards must need money that they double charge for cleaning that doesn't even get done. Bonnie has horrible customer service skills swearing at me. Ill never do business with this place and will take my business to Home depot. Ill be filing BBB.org too. Ive reached out to the corporate office as well.

Problem with their advertising. They always seem to have items for sale and get charged as regular price or this last straw where they have front item regular price and back item as sale price. Front desk manager claims it happens very often where customers buy the regular price item thinking it’s on sale. But why are they not correcting the problem. Manager Jeff just totally disregarded the claim as to any problems with their advertising. Such an inconvenience for the customer to find out later after they have gone home.

I shop here frequently. I had to make a return recently that required a manager's help. I was able to work with Tavares- the store manager. He was professional, reasonable, and fair. I didn't get as much back as I hoped, but it was a very reasonable outcome based on the circumstances.

Good prices but online pick up ordering system has errors...longggg wait if the order wasn't picked up and you got an email it was ready in error. This time they didn't even have what I ordered in stock and wouldn't for months...last trip here
