We have vision insurance and pay out of pocket for the remaining balance, for both my husband and I whom both recently had comprehensive eye exams, and were both prescribed glasses.The Dr. was thorough and seemed competent, despite lacking some degree of bedside manner. My husband and I both saw Dr. Knight.When we both returned to pick up our prescribed glasses, separate stops about a week apart, we both found the optician to be impatient with the fitting.Ok, so two less than friendly demeanors but not the end of the world.After a few days of trying to work in his glasses, my husband realized that they aren’t going to work for his computer/screen intensive job. When he called to inform them, the person that answered the phone was rude and not very accommodating. My husband was told he would have to come back in, and that he wouldn’t be given an appointment, he’d just have to come in and wait. He was also told he would have to pay again for any changes that were made, despite getting an incorrect prescription to begin with. We will see how this pans out. We are new to Milwaukee and have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism and rudeness before in the healthcare industry. We are not difficult people. Apparently they don’t need or want our continued business.

Place has bad customer service came to pick up some glasses on January 5th and they locked the door right before I could come in it was 4:55, one tall lady with dark hair then proceeded to look me in the face as I was at the door then turn around and shut the lights off. Next morning January 6th I arrived bright and early because I would assume if you close early you would at least open early…. nope they didn’t even open on time they open 6 minutes after as well, then when I went to finally pick up the glasses the same lady who turned around and cut the lights off was the one who open the store so before I left I asked “what time do you guys close” she said “five o’clock “ I then told her you guys closed early yesterday she told no we close at 5 o’clock I then proceeded to say well it wasn’t five o’clock when someone closed the door in my face yesterday and she just shrugged it off and said maybe. I can give the benefit of the doubt of clocks being five minutes fast but they can’t be fast and slow at the same time and still doesn’t make up for the terrible customer service and attitude for this lady who shouldn’t be helping people if she’s going to be rude. If I could individual scores I would give her a 0 the others who work here were super nice but judging from the other reviews this isn’t the first time this same lady has been rude to customers so since the mangers/owners have prioritized keeping her around instead of doing something about her attitude problem the correct way to solve this issue is to just stop coming her can’t support a business that won’t change.

Glasses promised, came in with plane piece of plastic. Second time promised didn't came. Glasses promised for my daughter didn't came either. All in all, lousy service.same pair of glasses promised for the 3rd time and they are not arrived again

Terrible experience. Extremely unprofessional, will do anything to get you out the door or off the phone. Spare yourself the headache and save yourself some money by finding a different eye doctor.

I came in a few days ago to check on the status of my order and the lady at the front desk who “helped” me, she had blondish brown hair and glasses, freckles I think, was so rude. I’m sorry, but there’s no need to act rude for no reason especially to people you don’t even know. All I was doing is checking on my order status considering I called three times and no answer. She had told me there was a problem with my order and they had to re-order it and I had to wait a few more weeks now which is fine. But TONE LADY! She also tried to tell me that I didn’t order on the day I ordered when I know what day I ordered exactly. In a world where you can be anything just be kind and do your job nicely and correctly. If you don’t like that and it’s too much to handle THEN get a new job!!!!

Very rude lady that answered the phone when I called abought just being notified that my autistic son who has insurance owes a bill from January but he has had insurance always he has never not had insurance and you try to come today to notify me of a bill from Jan then are rude won't help me at all tell me I'm loud I explain it's cause I can't hear well at all never will I return to that west allis location and we've been going there for years but after all this I'm not going back there again you can not come up with a bill months later and try to tell me he didn't have insurance

The doctor was super nice and sweetI received my glasses on Saturday and not evening a cleaning cloth comes with it’s ridiculous and then I didn’t get no paper about my prescription and I didn’t get to pick out my glasses which is upsetting and frustrating because I seen some beautiful pairs

I've had an extremely frustrating experience here with Dr. Knight, I will not be returning due to this. I went for my regular check up so I could update my lenses&order contacts. The exam felt extremely rushed. Right when i sat down for the exam Dr knight told me i needed daily contacts.I was not given a trial set before ordering.Once I recieved the contacts they didn't fit- they wouldn't go in, just scratch my eyes& slide around. I called back and had them looked at - Dr Fritz discovered they weren't fit for my eyes. So he reexamined&gave trial of the right ones, which did fit. I called back notifying of this in which I was told I will not be getting a refund nor can I exchange the incorrect ones for the ones that do fit. This entire experience has been a huge waste of my time and money. I now need to order all new contacts which is costing me at least double what it should be. As well I have 6 months worth of contacts that aren't even right - I have no choice but to throw them in the garbage. Please find elsewhere for your eye care.

Visit one with Dr Fritz? I went with a family member and saw him also, My daughter saw him for an eye infection and he was super sweet. We were very happy with the doctor. I was super impressed with him. He explained everything. I did order 2 pair of glasses. I was never offered the anti glare so I though it came with my glasses. Now I was told I would have to get another 2 pair and it would be so much work for the lady to even check if they can apply that after the script is done. WHAT? Is that not their job? So I paid for my sons transitions but they are useless and my 2 pair are useless. Took another family member there and saw Dr. Knight it really was like night and day this doctor did not explain anything, was rude, and very rushed. I made sure the next pair of glasses will be perfect for her. I will never go back there to see Dr Knight even if my eyes are falling out. My daughter was very upset that he said NOTHING besides she was slightly near sided. Told her to wear glasses if she can see better if she cant dont wear them? I dont think he ever looked at her chart he told her she did not need allergy drops that the other doctor told her to use. These drops have really helped her eyes. I was called to a counter when I picked up my glasses and rushed out. So now we have 3 pair of glasses that are useless because we were not offered the antiglare. I have used my old glasses but what a waste of money!

I saw Dr. Knight, and had some issues to say the least. Not only did this office falsify the visit summary and bill they submitted to my insurance company, I also didn't actually get the contact lens fitting that I paid for, I got a lecture about how bad my current contacts are instead, which is fine if it is the truth, but it was the refusal to help me find contacts that fit that threw me off. No contacts were tried on in the office, I was given a trial box of a brand that he had rebates for, and upon getting home and trying them, of course they didn't work. I returned to the office again to see if the doctor would give me a different brand or size and he refused. I don't have time to spend weeks making appointments and coming back and forth trying to find new contacts, it should have been completed on my first visit. Or the second! There is a reason this place is being bought out, go somewhere else, you will have to go see another doctor for the right prescription after you see these people anyway. I look forward to the snarky reply to this review by one of the many front desk ladies with negligible customer service skills and more attitude than competence.

Ok so I got recommended to come here by my sister Val who works here, I'm not basing my review solely on this.. So I went for my eye exam, and FIRST they have all State of the Art Equipment, which is great. 2nd. There Professionalism was beyond outstanding it was phenomenal.. 3rd I had Dr Eric Knight, who did my exam and literally made me feel at ease he went over everything with me, he found when I had went to Walmart Vision Center in New Berlin that my prescription was completely wrong and I never should of had the glasses I had, because it was hurting my vision.. He also told me that in about a year I'll probably need Bifocals so he gave me an advanced warning on that to be prepared.. Over all and all I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MYEYEDR..

After I told him I haven't seen an eye Dr in awhile, he freaked out, called me a "nightmare liability", huffing and puffing. And then proceeded to tell me that my Air Optics Day and Night weren't sleeping contacts. He came in like a bull, didn't introduce himself, and within two minutes I was out the door to find a more CONFIDENT Dr. I was completely blindsided by his disgusting demeanor and couldn't believe he treated patients so horribly. BEWARE of Eric Knight!

The optimal optometrist experience.Came in early for an urgent visit after scratching my cornea. The front desk staff was extremely accommodating and got me in within the hour.Dr. Knight took great care of me, quickly diagnosing and beginning treatment of my eye. I was feeling better within minutes.A bandage (special contact lens), and a prescription later and I was on my way. Follow-up went just as smoothly and I am feeling a million times better.Highly recommended. Thank you!

I've been coming to Knight Vision for a few years now and have been very pleased with their services. They have a nicely remodeled office on the corner of 73rd and Greenfield Ave. with free street parking (yay- West Allis)! I switched to Knight Vision after lack of care and attention at the national chain eye locations. Each doctor here I've seen is through and takes the time to answer any questions I have. The staff does a nice job to get you in and out in a timely manner. I don't believe walk-ins are allowed but they do a great job of answering phones. Now they are apart of 'my eye dr' and you can make appointments online which is nice and convenient!

Overall, I highly suggest Knight Vision even after combining with MyEyeDr. Almost all of the staff is kind and helpful. I only ran I to one glasses technician that was NOT HELPFUL or friendly to her co-workers or customers. When the office manager was notified the situation was promptly dealt with. Ice been back since my last appoint to get my frams adjusted to fit more comfortably. Their variety of frames and quality of lenses are really top notch. I end up with 2 new pairs of glasses everytime I go.Thank you for addressing opportunities for improvement as well as delivering quality goods and services!Both doctors ar good. Dr. Knight is very informative and will be straightforward and honest. Dr. Fritz was also super informative and kind to work with .
