This is the closest Walgreens to my house and we always have issues with the pharmacy and the store itself. I recently had surgery and the pharmacy initially said that my controlled medications prescribed for post-surgery pain were “out of stock” but when we challenged them to check again they magically had found them. The store section is awful to shop in because I shouldn’t have to press a button every two minutes to have someone come and unlock the shelf for me. Literally EVERYTHING in this store is locked up. Toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant, etc. It’s so obnoxious and inconvenient. There is no point in shopping in store here. Either go to a different location, different chain entirely, or place a pick up order because you can’t actually shop in store like a normal customer.

Went to go in and grab a few items I forgot for a trip and the line was so long, one of the workers who was so slow, I don’t know if he was disabled or not but super slow, when I finally got to the checkout counter he was slow with putting the items in the bag and doing everything. Obviously he is disabled however I work in retail too and if someone is clearly that disabled then why are they being hired in the first place knowing it’ll cost them time and efficiency. He was nice but very slow

I had came in counter with a woman in that works in the photo department, she is an older woman with gray hair and stick up her rectum. My friend and I had came into Walgreens to pick up pictures and she greeted us raising her voice at us asking “what do you need” her whole attitude showed on her face as well in her tone. I politely proceeded to try to tell her my pictures were done and she walked away from me to smoke a cigarette outside. She then came back into the building mean mugging me and my friend once again and walked away knowing we still needed help. i do appreciate the other Walgreens woman working with Blonde hair that came to help us out when she seen us agitated. But for the other woman as far as her working wit people should be an absolute never. She was very rude and unprofessional, once day someone will show her a lesson if she continues with her poor attitude and team work, n most importantly customer service. I felt uncomfortable the minute the woman approached me.

Not sure why the negative reviews. Everytime I've been in the store the staff were friendly and nice. The pharmacy even found a discount for me to use on my precription.

Was so happy to see self check out at one of the slowest Walgreens I’ve been too. Honestly like 20 minutes wait sometimes with only 3 people in line. Now they put security tags on items that cost less 10$ and once you self check out you then need to get in that nice long line and wait to to get the security tag removed. Walgreens needs some help!

Miguel helped me at the drive thru window of the pharmacy. I desperately needed medicine for my mother. He took his time in every way, made me feel like I mattered. The customer service since covid, has gotten so bad. This experience gave me faith that there are still people that care to go the extra mile for their customers. He got me the product other Walgreens were out of, he was patient with meeting my needs as a customer, giving me the best price for the name brand, inquiring when necessary and offering the best service I've had in weeks, if NOT months or years. If ONLY Miguel could help teach our youth HOW TO SERVE OTHERS, our world would be a MUCH BETTER PLACE ❗ Thanks Miguel, btw: you deserve a raise‼️ Thanks also for giving me faith to go outside, after the lock downs it hasn't been pleasant. ?

Stopped in Monday to have a prescription filled, nice woman told they didn't have it but would be ready tomorrow. Tried calling at 6 pm Tuesday, but after 20 minutes never talked to a human. Went to the store at 7 pm, same nice woman told they didn't have it. I asked if I should pursue another avenue (like call another store?), she asked for my insurance card and gave it to another employee who gave me my prescription.Didn't she just LIE to me? And maybe on Monday too? Never again going there. One star 'cause the store was open and the lights were on.

While calling to see what's the hold up with my prescription they kept answering and putting me on hold. I can hear them pick up the phone and then place me on hold again. No one is willing to help. Then they hang up on me after 15 min on hold. This happened 3 times in a row. Very unprofessional.

Been waiting two days for my prescription to be ready. Half of it is ready and the other half I am told they will try to fill today (I was told yesterday it would be done today). The excuse is that they are behind/short staffed. I will likely have to get it filled elsewhere as I really need these meds. I can’t continue to rely on “maybe” or “we will try” any longer. This may be an opportune time to put out an ad seeking additional staff. It’s not uncommon for this pharmacy to struggle to keep up with demand. There seems to be a pattern of issues… They don’t have the medication, won’t bring in the medication, won’t look to see if other locations have the medication, unprepared, unfriendly, and sometimes rude… Your staff members will be happier and more effective workers if you don’t spread them so thin.Trying to call back to get my script changed to another location and they keep picking up the phone and putting it on hold without saying a word, no communications asking me to hold either. They are just letting it ring and ring. In the time you are taking to ignore me calling in as a paying customer we could have had this prescription transferred to a location that can handle it. 12 minutes of this so far. I tried to change the location on the app but it won’t let me and says I need to call.I ended up hanging up and called the main line asking for the manager (Sherry). The lady who answered the phone told me she has the same issue getting her scripts and plans to go somewhere else and she freakin works there. I finally get through to the pharmacy and I am told I need to call the location I want to have it transferred to- there is nothing they can do for me. I think I’m going to change my default location going forward. Good lord!

The pharmacy staff is very rude, they rarely have the medications available. Today I'm going to pick up medications from the car and I'm waiting in line for 40 minutes when it's my turn at the window I have to wait a few more minutes because the person who attends is gossiping with another skinny brunette lady in a white coat and then they don't want to For one to get upset by the wait, I suppose that if the patient has already left, they will attend to the next one, not that they stay talking about other patients while one has to continue waiting and there is still a long line waiting. They should be more considerate of the people who go to get their medications, as many leave their jobs tired. As a pharmacy, some of the employees there working at the Walgreens on 83 Greenfield are no good.
