Stein's Garden & Home is a well stocked garden supply store that has been in business for decades. The store offers a great selection of annuals and perennials, along with plenty of vegetables, flowers, roses, trees, and decorative plants. It carries everything for the gardener, including seeds, fertilizer, and lawn and garden chemicals. There is also a nice selection of houseplants. Beyond plants, the store features a variety of decorative items both inside and outside, a fun gift shop, and a higher quality selection of items like artificial Christmas trees. Customers love to walk around and often find something for the garden.
While some note the prices are high, others appreciate the great variety and a great rewards program. The staff experience can vary; some customers report very friendly and knowledgeable help, while others have had negative experiences with staff being rude, inattentive, or handling situations poorly. However, the corporate management has demonstrated a commitment to addressing such complaints sincerely and taking corrective action.
