About The Tower Heritage Center
The Tower Heritage Center is home to the Washington County Historical Society. It is a local treasure of information and architectural beauty, responsible for preserving eight historic buildings including an 1889 Courthouse, an 1886 Jailhouse, and the 1865 Frisby House. The campus has something for everyone, from museum exhibits and an amazing dollhouse and Native American interactive area for kids to a beautiful courthouse that can be rented for weddings and celebrations. It is a perfect place to host events, described as gorgeous and making decorating a breeze. The venue is also the perfect size for groups. Everyone should stop in to walk the lovely grounds, visit the outdoor memorials, and tour the Jail and Museum. The Memorial Day and Veteran's Day celebrations are heart-warming and wonderful to witness. Staff is super friendly and accommodating.
