Very helpful answered all of my questions and said if anything else would occur to please call back. Not many businesses will talk to you on the phone to explain things but they did.
Thank You!

We had been traveling for 3 hours on our way to a family gathering in Weyauwega, WI. While stopping for gas in Wausau, the check battery recharge system came on and our air conditioner stopped working in 80+ degree weather. Chuck and Kris’ diagnosed our issue, ordered the part, fixed our car for a reasonable price, and had us out of there within an hour to continue our family trip. Amazing experience!

I was referred to Chuck and Kris by 2 coworkers who indicated that Chuck and Kris were long time friends who opened a shop and did automotive work for a fair price. I will admit their prices are fair for parts and labor. That is where my good review ends. I told Chuck that if the repair wasn't done right away I wouldn't care. He had me check back in a week. When I checked back in he told me he would have it done the following week. Again I called back and he said probably this week. He did call 2 days later and it was done. I paid the bill and there weren't any issues driving it home. At that point I was satisfied that I had found a fair mechanic that I could return to until the very next time I drove it. All I did was head to the local O'Reilly's because I was changing the oil in my other car and the dash lit up with so many lights and messages from just backing out of the driveway. Apparently the axle shaft wasn't locked in place and it popped out causing the wheel speed sensor, that was working, to break and luckily that disabled the rear differential and saved the brand new axle from any damage. It ran terrible and made a rubbing noise that I traced to the rusted out dust shield behind the brake rotor that they did a terrible job of removing and not replacing. The loose axle was easy to spot because there was a wet spot easy to see near the point the axle and rear diff meet. Not locking in an axle shaft is a rookie mistake, not something a certified mechanic and shop owner should ever make. I will not be returning due to this error made by this shop that could've cost me thousands had it not occurred backing out of my driveway the 2nd time I drove car. The first being the time I left the shop. Just be aware that you get exactly what you pay for and paying a fair price at a shop shouldn't result in further damage to the vehicle, whether it was $100 sensor or $1000 in total damage. If I refer to an earlier review left by Trevor H., this type of thing almost seems intentional. Also a reason not to return.

Just found my new garage for car repairs. Had an estimate from some where else for a muffler pipe.....They looked at it to find exactly what pipe l needed, didn't charge for that. Ordered the part and after part got there, I called to make appointment for them to install it. They saved me over $200 and being on disability. That amount is nothing to sneeze at. Lol Guess what??? I was only there for maybe 20 minutes!!!! Fast and affordable. Well more affordable than other places?

My mother in law visited here to get work done only to find out its a giant scheme. Screw you over and don't fix things that are wrong only in hope to get you back in the door to spent more of your hard earned money. Be forewarned!!

I spent over 400 dollars to get my check engine light go away. Next day, the light comes back. Every time I go back and ask, they just make up another excuse. I'm never going back and tell everyone what they did to me. Not cool.

The back passenger window of our car was off the track. Both friends from church and friends I use to work with insisted the best place to get my window repaired was a family run business called Chuck & Kris Auto Repair on Schofield Ave just east of Habitat for Humanity. I called and was able to fill a canceled appointment for the next day. The repair only took 20 minutes and my husband was impressed and surprised not only at the speed but at the quality of the work. He noticed that they also work on small engines and that prices for repairs are marked and much better than other places.

Honest hard working people , I have had my vehicle in there a few times. Reasonable rates compared to other places . Cheapest around, they aren’t the type of place when. They see a female bringing their car in to take them or fix something that don’t need to be. Small shop hard working people , means a win win . We need more people like this making a honest living .
