I own a dog training company that also trains service dogs. I’ve only been in business for two years, but get all my supplies from active dog. My last order was a service, dog vest, purple, with Velcro patches. The measurements say the smallest dog will fit is with a 25 inch girth. The dog has a 25 inch girth and so I ordered it. They called me and said for under your custom logo patch we could put a circle Velcro for the patch I said fine they didn’t say anything about not being able to return it. Besides, it’s a Velcro patch my custom logo was not sewn into the vest. I get the vest I take it to my client and the vest is way too big. So I told them I need to return this and get a smaller one. They say you can’t return it because of the custom logo patch. I said it’s Velcro. It wasn’t so non-and besides your measurements are wrong it does not fit a dog with a 25 inch girth. They didn’t care the manager didn’t call me back like they said they said she would. So the next week I send a email through their message portal. I was told again it’s not refundable it’s not returnable because I personalized it. first of all their measurements are wrong. It does not fit a dog with a 25 inch girth, and this is a Velcro patch. I really don’t want to use a different company because I love all their products but this is pretty ridiculous. I am a small company, I probably only trained 2 to 3 service dogs a year. But I still deserve good customer service. I am now looking for a different company to get my supplies from.

We are extremely unhappy with our purchase of dog harnesses for our pets. Sizing was a nightmare and the harnesses have no means of adjustment. We received a harness for our smaller (50 pound) dog that has stretched since receipt. It now hangs loosely on her body and is to the point of being ineffective and unusable. We have sent back a second harness for our larger dog twice at our expense. The alleged sizing was ridiculous. The harness received was either six inches too small or too large. With regard to the latter purchase, we were denied an exchange based on "hair and white staining". Considering that our dog could never wear the harness, we consider such a claim to be baseless. Active Dogs is indeed a "small" and apparently desperate company that squeezes every dollar out of duped clients. We will stick to larger companies such as Amazon that guarantee that such shenanigans do not take place. I'd advise against making any purchase from Active Dogs.

We have ordered a few Service Dog Vests from Active Dogs over the last few years. Quick shipping and good quality. I recently had an issue with 2 vests that had a rip in them. Because we had added training patches to the vest it voided our warranty. Add in we were past our 30 days. Frustrated I sent an email to customer service to let them know that there was a rip in each vest in the exact same spot. I KNEW our warranty was expired. The customer service department responded immediately and asked for pictures. Then sent me an email stating they would submit a return label to have it returned and repaired after viewing them. The vests were sent on a Monday and we received them back the following Monday!!

DONT DO IT! THEY USE FED EX. PACKAGE WAS DELIVERED TO WRONG ADRESS WAS HOME AND HAD VIDEO SURVEILLANCE. I NEEDED THIS VEST TO TRAVEL MANAGEMENT REFUSED TO BELIEVE ME OR MAKE IT RIGHT. NOT WORTH THE AGGREVATION OR TIME DOING THEIR TRACE. HORRIBLE. IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG THEY WONT CARE.

Applied to this company nearly everytime they are looking to hire. I have even been told that i was hired during an interview then i was contacted the following weekend to be told that they were not hiring. Staight up these people lie to your face. Do not do business with this company.
